I actually did this the hard way. I took the rims off and sanded the down. I went out to my local Pep Boys store.
4 cans of metal self etching primer
5 cans of black rim paint
5 cans of the gloss rim clear coat

I spent way more time than I needed a total of 4 days without wheels to be exact. Sanded, primed, painted, then applied clear coat.
they do look good but I already have a tiny chip because I live on backroads.

if I were you id apply more plasti dip. Sit your car in the sun for a day and let the plasti harden. Should be pretty tough then. Oh and apply like 4 coats.

What kind of paint did you use for the silver dash?

went to home depot and bought the krylon outdoor plastic paint. It works great. Have not scratched or marked up the paint. I pit at least 6 coats on all the pieces beacause your always touching them. My only mistake was the door handle covers. Didn't pit enough coats on the passenger one and some girls ring chipped the paint. I did scuff the plastic clear coat a little bit for better stick.

The angle coming out of the throttle body put the first tab about 5 inches from the left old intake mount (your connector looks good, I had to make something similar but a bit longer) and because of the angle it wouldn't clear the brake lines, and also put the down elbow against the fender well so it would rub and clang constantly. I cut about 3 inches from the largest pipe so there's three joints now. Works well, just not as sturdy as I would like. I was mostly annoyed at cosmo because the sales rep completely ignored my information and said he would not give a full return, which with shipping back to Canada I was taking a double hit, but it's what ever at this point.

Looks really good man! Loving the storm trooper style, white and black will always be my favorite on any car. Your headlights are exactly how I want to so mine. Gonna do it myself since I have experience professionally painting. Plus DIY is much cheeper lol! Personally I prefer diy over getting it done professionally anyway.
