Default Help me identify source of oil leak on 07 IMPREZA??

I few days ago I had started to notice the slight scent of burning oil coming from my car. This had prompted me to look into the matter. Ive noticed small oil spots on my parking space at work. I took a flashlight and looked under the hood. It appears there is some oil pooled in a spot behind a white (sensor?) Possibly the oil pressure sensor. Also, it appears it has dripped down onto a plastic (catch? or pan?) located all the way underneath the engine, closest thing to the ground.

From these photos, can anyone help me identify the issue. Ive inspected the Valve cover and it has no oil on it. Maybe a drip or two that spilled off from the small pool in the photos. Also, my oil levels are good and car runs fine. No smoke or anything. Please see pics...

I'm not sure what that is but the best way to identify a leak is to clean up that area and check it frequently to see where the oil is coming from.
FWIW, I've only seen pictures of the oil pressure sensor under the alternator on the EJ engine.

i always take a clean rag and then see where it develops after. Too much grime in there to identify where its coming from exactly. Cleaing it up and looking for fresh oil is your best bet.

It was the oil pressure sender/sensor which I replaced this weekend. Now I am looking at the oil pressure sender/sensor on the passenger side and it appears to be gunked up and oily. Not nearly as bad as the drivers side, but looks like the oil has seeped down the engine, eventaully to the ground. Would both of these sensors go bad at the same time? What could cause this?
