Question on the P&P Exhaust and the EGT tap - If I already have my manifold tapped for an EGT Can I still utilize the quick shipping/core deposit option?

It's 1/8 NPT thread tapped and I've never had an issue (knock on wood)...

Looking at getting the P&P W/hi-flow crosspipe package and possibly the ceramic coating...

Thanks!

Just wanna throw my little ole experience with Will when ordering the exhaust manifold to up-pipe gasket. Ordered it 2 mondays ago then received a phone call/voicemail a little but later from Will himself telling me the gasket has just been shipped out. I mean really, a voicemail.... Who does that?... I received the normal emails about the gasket but this guy went the extra step. I was very surprised.

Two days after that, I called GS and spoke to Will about the gasket and I just wanna say his customer service is second to none.

Keep up the good work bro.

Received my PnP Exh. Manifold and X-Pipe with ceramic coating today. Excellent customer service and excellent product. Just want to thank Will and everyone from Grimmspeed. They are an A+ vendor. Now I need some cash to get some TGV deletes.

GS intake manifold PnP black coated

GS enlarged gaskets for TGV

Awesome customer service from Grimmspeed. Thanks Mike and Will!

From the uppipe, crosspipe and exhaust manifold I managed to drop a consistent 2 tenths from my quarter mile time. I can't wait to order your parts for the intake side.

I got my crosspipe today for my 06 wrx and as I was taking off the old crosspipe I cross threaded one of the nuts so I had to break it off. I was all upset cause I didn't have a ride to go get a new one. Lo and Behold...I open up the box to my new ceramic coated GrimmSpeed crosspipe and find 4 brand new bolts and nuts!!!!! I was so happy! Grimmspeed just found a customer for life!

The quality and fitment of the crosspipe was amazing! Thanks Grimmspeed for making my day a lot easier!!

Haha no problem, glad we could help you out in your time of need! Those OEM bolts are pretty strong but from time to time they are known to cross thread so having the new hardware definitely helps!

Let us know how everything goes after the install!

Ordered manifold gaskets and turbo to downpipe gaskets from Grimmspeed Monday night. Got a call Tuesday morning telling me they were shipped out and asking if I had any other questions. Just got the gaskets today. Excellent customer service and excellent quality product. Will definitely do business with these guys again.

Wanted to let you guys know I finally got all the parts on the car and tuned by Doug from TopSpeed, Here's the bottom line. Intake Mani and throttle body PnP, TGVs with the 8mm Spacers and Gaskets, EBC, Exhaust Mani and Cross Over Pipe PnP, Uppipe and last but not least the great job you did Porting my VF-48. Using 650cc Injectors Doug was able to get out of a VF48 310 HP and 350 TQ that's great.

You guys where great through the whole upgrade and I'll post my photo that shows how I used one of your stickers that you get with your parts. Looking back I can tell how many parts I received by the stickers I have :-)

I've bought gasket sets on 2 occasions from GrimmSpeed and both occasions went extremely well with shipping much quicker than I expected.

Along with the power, I am sure you got a nice drop in spool as well. The new setup sounds like it is working on well.

Very nice numbers for a vf48! is this on normal pump gas or e85? Definitely post some photos or videos if you have them, we'd love to see!

86 If your statement was that I've lost spool up time boy is that a wrong statement. I can't change my gears fast enough. Man I'm telling you with the parts I got from GrimmSpeed and the tune from Doug at TopSpeed this car is a blast to drive. I drove to Boca Raton Fl. last week about 320 miles and loved every minute of it. The best part of it and the reason I built the car with the parts from GrimmSpeed was when these BMWs and Merc roll up on me in 5th gear doing 80ish and want to play I don't have to drop a gear. Matter of fact you don't want to. I've found it's best to leave it in 5th gear and floor it.I get instant spool and not once do I lose ground. That's all I should say on that matter since I've learned my lession for saying to much about highway speeds.
The PnP on the turbo by GS, The Uppipe and PnP Exhaust Mani plus the Cross over pipe makes this car the Top End car I was looking for. I get the same spool as with my TD-04 if not better at highway speeds and a whole lot of Torque that my 04 could only dream of to red line. Doug tune the VF-48 with 19 lbs of boost to 18 at red line and on the track with the above parts that means a whole lot of fun. It does make me stop now and think about the safty of the car and what could go wrong that those speeds. I had to put the front lip on the car and rear diffuser to help stablize the car better. The car really needs help keeping it planted better at high speeds, it's light as a feather not something I'd recomend trying on a public street with other cars close by.
Here's those photo's Will I said I'd send I forgot, It's Florida Gas 93.

Very cool Dennis! Do you know what kind of numbers you're making? I can't wait to get my td04 swapped out with my vf34 now! A little more top end sure would be nice.

Wagon love

Here's the post that started the response,

So this past week I installed my GS UP. Unfortunately, I wasn't hitting proper peak boost. At first I thought it may have been a gasket (used all new GS gaskets) on the elbow to crossover. After speaking with Mike and resurfacing all of the flanges I still had this obnoxious leak along with a hissing sound at WOT under boost.

Mike said he'd never had a gasket blow and frankly I believe him those puppies are thick! He instructed me to Seafoam the vehicle to see exactly where leaks were occurring if at all. Sure enough I was getting smoke from between the passenger side fender and block, indicating an UP leak. Mike sent me out a new pipe the next day.

Sure every vendor should warranty their parts...but the thing that really struck me was that I bought this UP used and not from GrimmSpeed directly. The fact that they would even warranty it speaks volumes about the type of people they are. Thanks Mike, and thanks GrimmSpeed!

Too bad I spun a bearing the other day.

I have been nothing but happy with all of my Grimmspeed products. About all I have left to get from them is the AOS and send in my TGV's, TD06-20G and APS DP to get coated.

I have the whole package from GrimmSpeed and from what I can tell by the Dyno numbers I get about 20HP more using there stuff. How I figured this was with a stock VF-48 most where getting 280ish where I get 310. I have a butt load of TQ 350 all the way to red line as well. The car spools like crazy and has great top end. I can not say enough how great the guys are at GrimmSpeed but there stuff is even better :-)

Sorry to hear about the ...spun bearing... but we are always trying to look out for customers because lets face it, we here at GrimmSpeed are customers too for our own cars, and want to be treated fairly, so we pass that on to you!

Haha its good to hear that our products are even better, that means that we are not being fake sales people just trying to nickle and dime everyone. Let the parts speak!
