How I installed a WRX scoop on my Forester.

Take the hood off. Flip over. Find the four holes . They are between the 2 and three hole reinforcements pressed in the under hood.

Find the center of the holes and mark (Lightly ) with a punch. This will transfer to the other side. Now flip the hood and repunch to drill out to 1/4" hole +-.

Now flip the hood and line up the scoop with the 4 holes (on the center of holes ) and mark the out side to the hood inside . Make a new line about 1" in from the outline of the scoop. Drill 4 corner holes (I used a 1" hole saw). The front most holes are setback to the end of the 3 hole reinforcement holes(see photo).

Flip the hood face up. Draw a line to each hole. Cut out line.

This will mount the scoop high. I plan to use a 3/8" foam between the hood and the scoop. With a bunch of trimming you could make it flush.

Mine is a rally car !

I will need to drill the rear holes for the back and side of the scoop.(need to get some parts)

To funny !

Their Kumho R700 195/65/15's sure look small, but John said don't go "BIG" . LOL

Wheels were only $150 for all with street tires ,that I gave away. May need to get some 13mm or 26mm spacers ?

It got cold here and I have been stopped for now.
