Did you even read the article you linked? There wasn't any gunman at a school. A motorist thought they saw a man with a rifle at the train station. It looks like it was a false alarm.

Guys, my old college roommate's 6 year-old was killed in the shooting, and a bunch of us are traveling to Newtown for the services.

On top of preparing myself for the horrendous sadness of the event, I am also worried about crowds, etc. that might prevent us from paying our respects and supporting our buddy and his family. So, I am asking those familiar with the area: does anybody know how early I should arrive? Services are at noon.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know anything about the area but my condolences to your friend's family and anyone else affected by the shooting.

Newtown is a pretty quiet town, and traffic on 84 should be pretty much non-existant by then. I'd probably shoot for 11am.

I haven't been up there since the shooting though, so it could be a little bit more challenging depending on where you are trying to go.

I ended up getting there for 10:30 and was asked by the police to return at 11:00. The church was packed, as was the town.

There was a huge police presence, and I have to say, they were incredibly professional and kept everything moving through town and around the churches smoothly, albeit slowly.

So an overwhelming vote for #2? That's the Vorsteiner lip.

The 1st is the Arkym lip, which is a little more track ready. It has a little lip that actually goes back under the front of the car and mounts to where the lower aero panels start.

some more pics of both:
(Bren WRX's car)

(Best pic of the Arkym)

Saw a hot brunette getting into her E92 335i in the parking lot of my work today. She ended up getting off my exit (8) on 84 so she must be local. Anyone know her? Wouldn't mind running into her again
