Weird, had a similar/not-similar run the other day. Pulled the interior/door cards/ seats/carpet out of the car the other weekend to clean, swap, and found enough change to pay my first mortgage in quarters ( hopefully will silence that awful rattling ) found a shredded pin-up girl photo behind the driver doorcard, enough beads and lures to fish for a month, and batteries.... I have enough batteries now...

I had the same thought. I mean, I'm not sure about border-crossing issues up here unless he plans on driving through Canada (I'd definitely worry more while exiting Canada southbound), but I just wouldn't want any trace of odors in my car. I'd spray and wipe it down thoroughly.

Ok, now you guys made me start thinking, even though I don't plan on driving through Canada anytime soon, I still don't want any chance of my Prez of gettin gutted. So with that said, anyone got a drug sniffing dog I can borrow? |

That wasn't my point. To rid of any unwanted smells he should get a professional detail. Tearing the car apart is what he's on his own for. I wasn't offering a one-stop solution.

I didn't do anything personally BUT, Paul, Taylor and Grant at Element Automotive installed a new OEM Short Block with a Killer Bee oil pickup, Group N motor mounts and pitch stop, ACT HD Clutch and Streetlite flywheel and a new axle. Oh, and a KSTech air pump delete kit.
Thanks for the great work guys! At 130,000 miles, there's nothing better than a zero miles engine and clutch. As for as NVH with the Group N mounts and pitch stop - Oh yeah, it's there. |

Today the wife and I washed and waxed the car and cleaned up the interior for the cruise to Hatcher Pass tomorrow. Really looking forward to the cruise, never been on one before.

New mud flaps, primitive skidplate and rear diff protector, suspension settings in winter mode and winter wheels tires all installed. So much easier with a garage and proper tools!
Decided to run the studded hankooks for now until I get around to making an appointment with Element to swap them to the blizzaks. |
