Default Kuhmo KU19 vs. Falken FK-451

What are your thoughts on these $125/ea. tires in 225/40/18? $125 a tire is about the max I want to spend. My priority is dry lateral traction. Noise is a concern, but not a large one.

The Kuhmos:

The Falkens:

I think Kumho is trying to replace the 712, which is garbage IMO, and the KU19 is what's gonna do it.

I'd get the MX's...or the 451's........hell, who knows...the KU19's may be great...try 'em and see.

i love the 451's. haven't had them on too long, but they are definately a nice tire. i think once they are broken in they will be even more sticky. i got them for their excellent wet and dry traction rating.

Any other comments? Especially in the KU19s...I can search and find plenty of reviews of the Falkens, but not the Kuhmos.

i would get 451 just cuz its a proven performer at a low price. the 712 sucks major a s s, and ku19's are the replacement so you just never know.
