Default FP 68HTA 2.0 bugeye

I normally don't post up here but since this turbo is fairly new I decided I would help some people to make their decision on buying one. My previous setup was with a FP 16g and side by side the two turbos look exactly the same except for the wheel size. Stock block, tranny, and clutch 02 wrx on 93 pump with 90 degree temps outside. 20 psi.

Mods:
FP 68HTA
DW 750's
walbro 255
perrin fuel rails
ultimate racing uppipe
tial 38mm EWG
TXS turbo back
TXS front mount
perrin inlet
GT spec unequal headers
HOA 3 port BCS
ported TGV's
NGK one step colder plugs

320whp 300wtq

Was the only difference in these tunes the turbo, or were other supporting mods added?

Do you have a previous dyno plot of your 16G? Which would you say spool's quicker?

The graph is just the 68HTA. I don't have numbers for the 16g. The lower numbers were around 14 psi.

Thanks for the results, I think this turbo really wakes up with the addition of EWG and ELH

Spool doesn't tell the whole story. This turbo flows more so should make more power at the same boost. What's important is if it makes as much power as quickly .

Not to be rude, but showing us a graph is all good and great, but you haven't really told us what you thought in comparison to the FP16G. And which 16G was it that you had before?

The car feels like it has a lot more top end than the 16g. Also when this thing spools up it really takes off. Power comes on just like the 16g but more violently. Full spool is maybe a couple hundred rpms later.

750's are probably the smallest you should go. Check out this chart.

I have this turbo on my 03 WRX and it halls a$$ from just before 4k RPM all the way to read line. It kicks my gate remote out of the din under the radio, straight to the back seat when the boost kicks. I have it at 27psi on piss 90 pump gas with Meth/water 50/50. I havent dyno as yet, but I will as soon as I change the dead clutch.
LOL

idk if its just me, but why does so much of the power look like its so far to the right? that small of a turbo i would think boost comes on a bit earlier?
