Default 2015 WRX DAM Changes

So 70 miles into the flash of Stage 1 93 V112 my DAM dropped to .812 and hasn't gone back up to one. Do I reflash or put more miles on the tank?

Here is the log, it's big, so I highlighted all the concerning cells red.

I don't think so. Put a few more miles and it has started creeping back towards 1

What gas are you using? I thought this was a normal thing for 2015 WRX's

I have the same issue with V112. My DAM has been dropping just cruising around. It's a bit warm today so maybe that has something to do with it. I didn't have a problem like this though with the other versions. I'm kind of curious as to what Cobb changed in this last version. I thought I read something about timing changes related to intake temps, but I'm not sure.

So I put another 80ish +/- miles and DAM is back to 1, both knocks are between -1.41 / 0, and hitting target boost. Guess it just needed some time to sort it'self out.

Datalog to pull.

I took a road trip 300miles+ and my feedback knock and fine knock was 1.41-3.51 with my dam changing to .821-9.37 to 1.000 weird.. If anyone has a solution to this please share, I was on 91 CA gas, mods are jpipe, intake, inter cooler, and protune, often times when I turn the AC on feedback knock goes up, and dam goes back to 1.000 faster.

DAM is more active on the 2015 WRX than the previous model cars. It will move around, especially during cruise conditions where the car is running on the ragged edge of knock to try to get the best MPGs with the least emissions. It is also common to see small timing corrections on those cars under cruise conditions, but a -3.5 is a little larger than normal. Of course it depends on when and where it happened to see if it is concerning or not. It's possible it was a fluke that popped up during cruise and you don't need to worry about it or if it happened at higher cylinder pressures/boost, something may need to be looked at mechanically or in the tune.

Try taking a couple WOT logs and sending them to your tuner to see if there is anything that needs to be addressed.
