Went to Shakespeare County Raceway on Sunday gone.

Only managed to get 4 runs in, in the space of 5 hours thanks to the Junior Dragsters skipping the queue and running for 30min+ at a time!

Managed a new PB of 12.1 @ 113mph, an improvement of 0.1sec and 2mph for me, which given my 1.73 60ft (I normally run 1.6s) and my less than perfect gear changes, is pretty good. I've never been to such a sticky track before, but given a bit more time on track I think I could have got my 1.6 60ft and maybe a faster time. The stickyness that I wasn't used to made me keep bogging down on other runs, I'm used to some wheel spin from a decent launch, but it just bogged. So I ended up using the 6000rpm Launch Control which spun the wheels too much, but at least I didn't bog.

The VF35 is completely standard, no porting, nothing. It is the standard turbo on this model of UK STi.

vf35 uses P15 housing and thrust bearing, vf34 is P18 housing and roller bearing.

Thanks guys.

The VF35 I would say is inferior to the VF34, it can suffer quite badly from compressor surge if not using the stock intake. Both should, however, make similarish power.
