Problems with 07+ ecu's only
So it seems I'm running into a problem with reading or flashing newer 07+ can bus ecu's. No issue with anything older...
Using a 2.0 all the newest updates, newest ecuflash, all the newest definitions. Checked the rom files and it has the one for the specific car that I'm not experiencing issues with. I've uninstalled the whole 9 yards and reinstalled. Romraider logger and learning view have no problems. Wondering if anyone else has run into this? I'm kinda banging my head into the wall wondering what the hell is the problems. Log file.... I had this issue with the latest version of ECU flash. I downgraded to my previous version and it worked just fine. There is something wrong with the new version and possibly windows 7

I know I had an issue and went to properties to always run it as the administrator and it fixed my problem on the new version. Even if I had uac off.

The issue was with two cars. An 09 wrx which that error is from and a 09 STI.
It seems odd that both cars would have locked ecu's which im not convinced on. Thanks for the heads up on versions I will try and older one and see! |
