the sti's catback flows better than the wrx's catback, yes
as for downpipe, I dont think so
Most maps are tuned for a hiflow cat/catless downpipe
doesn't mean that it won't work, you'll just need a custom tune

Brandon, you should call me if you are still having issues. I can't fix it through email.

Every 2.0L WRX, map I've seen for pinks do not have different latency values, they are the same as stock. Even the '03 JDM 2.0L STi uses the same values. I usually see the scaler set around 520cc give or take depending on the map. I based my map off of ev8siv3's vf series 91 octane map and I'm rpetty happy with the results, only needed slight tweaking here and there because I use even bigger injectors. Latency is probably not your problem, use the stock values.

Have you tried using the injector latency spreadsheet @ the enginuity forums? It helped me get it pretty close to perfect and I use modded stockers for injectors.

There is a VF34/39 map on osecuroms.org, I believe it is for a 04 or 05 ecu so you'll just need to convert to a 02 or 03 map.

I have a VF34 tuned map for an 02 (I usually flash 02 maps onto 03s because the tables are bigger) if you want to PM me your email address. The VF34 is virtually identical to a 39 so it won't make a difference.

^ That is for the most part what I am using right now... not bad for an OTS map. I think I might need to back off on the timing a little for safety. While my IAM has stayed solid at 16, I do encouter some occasional negative KC when it's warm out and the IC has heat soaked. When it's a cool night out I don't see any -KC, so it just needs some slight tweaking. The boost holds very steady and right on its 16psi target without any modification to the boost maps.

I sent you an e-mail, forgot I had boost response set to stun rather than kill. Its yours to tweak Should be good for high boost but is up to you how you want to use it, probably better to have slower boost on a OTS map.
