02 Chevy Cavalier, the basest crappiest model you could find. You have to love engine surge. Turn the AC on, pull up to the light and look like you're trying to pull away because the engine decides it can't properly handle the compressor and revs up. cornering sucked, acceleration sucked, cruise control computer had down's syndrome, but I did get great gas mileage!

1985 Honda CR-X HF. Don't get me wrong, I loved the car. I thought it was the S*** with my self done gloss black interior with turquoise Californeon accent. I learned how to drive a manual with it when I bought it 40 miles from my house and had to get it home. My clutch cable pulled through the fire wall so I rigged it up with a pair of vise grips. Both window cranks were vise grips. I had both CV joints go out at the same time while making a turn at a cop directed intersection ( and he laughed at me ). I had no floor on the drivers side so my feet had to be on the pedals at all times. While making a turn my muffler flew off and I just kept going ( embarrassed ). I had a hole in the firewall that would spew hot air from the engine compartment right acrossed my right shin. Made a trip about 80 miles and from the heat it actually burnt my leg to the point of causing two blisters the size of halfed golfballs on my shin. The horn started going off one day while I was in work and wouldn't stop so I went out with a hammer and beat the hell out of it until it stopped. On my way home from work one day I started to smell something burning. After looking all around inside I noticed the right fender starting to bubble and smoke and then flames. I put the pedal to the floor and drove it straight to a dealership and bought a new car. Thank god the fire went out before I got there. They offered me $100 for it, so I took it and my three pairs of visegrips and off I went in my next disaster.

If all true, I believe you've won. Got any pictures of this disaster?

My only cars have been Subarus. First my 93 Legacy, great car, just old and slushbox. It taught me about turbos and got through 2 track days. And now I have my 04 WRX. I'm lucky.

Oooo I have pics of "Mortis"

This was taken on the day I got it after a nice wash and wax. I loved that car the first year I had it.

Teh worse car i ever owned had to be my first car. A 2000 Jeep Grand cherokee I6 Auto. P.O.S list of things that went wrong with it include
-Camshaft positioning sensor
-Crankshaft positioning sensor
-Oil pressure sensor
-E-brake cable broke

Maybe the list isnt that long but it cost me $3000 to get them all fixed. i traded it in when the tranny started to get all f*cked up. it wouldnt shift out of 1st without redlining. (explanation) if i was only on the throttle a little bit it would go to shift at say 3000 it would then just rev up like in N and then slam into 2nd at redline. every other gear was fine.

Had the same exact thing my first car, got it for 25$ drove it for 1 year 1/2 sold it for 600$

It did have a tendency to break the front dog-bone motor mount went threw 3 of em. Power everything, wire wheel hub caps, it was awsome.

not my first, but my second Jeep (and car) was a 1991 Jeep Cherokee. the only good thing about it was the paint. broken a/c, leaked like a siv, constantly overheated like a lot of those older models do, NO radio, electric fans didnt work, blasted through u-joints, needed shocks,... i could go on. i bought it, drove it home, and it broke down on my dads driveway when i put it in park.

its the red one, the black one was great!

anyway. what crap cars have you had and what are some funny/sad things theyve done to betray you?
I had a gutless 2.8L V6 '85 Chevy S10 Blazer, I beat that thing up along the years was reliable as anything I ever had. One night at a bonfire I drove it off a 7-12 foot cliff, drove it home the next morning while we crashed in the cabin.

I had a 1985 Chevy Celebrity for my first car. Car had sat for about a year and a half, I picked it up for $500.

That $500 got me exactly 10 days of use, and then the motor blew. haha

1990 Jeep Wagoneer. Grandfather gave it to me for doing some work around the house. Had it for about 9 months where it was sitting in my dad's driveway since I didnt have a job, and couldn't pay for it. First time I actually drove it, one of the brake calipers seized up AND it overheated All about 1/2 mile from my dad's house! New brakes, radiator, and a few hundred dollars later, it was on the road!! 4 mismatched, bald tires, rot on the A pillars, leaked/ burned oil to the tune of a quart every 500 miles, a super rickety transfer case that would get stuck in 4wd all the time, and the wood grain decals were peeling off 2 of the doors. Sadly, I spun it in the rain and hit a pickup truck, sold it to a buddy for 350 bucks Not it, but it looked like this.
