There is a nice one down in VA with 33k miles on it. Not sure if I can buy a car that is 3 years newer than mine, but has more miles.

Thanks man. Definitely having a good ol time out here while trying not to take life too seriously. Work makes it too easy to get angry and stressed out. Love escaping to the mountains to let loose!

Was more of a combination of snow and rain, and didn't really amount to much. Pretty sure we have no accumulation in FFLD.

Jealous of the nice weather you must e enjoying. Stop by Cigar City Brewing and grab a beer for me.

Greg, something else to consider:

Quote:
BMW is set to crown its second-generation 1-series line-up with an exciting new 300bhp plus six-cylinder powered M135i model pictured here in lightly veiled concept car form ahead of a public premiere at next week’s Geneva motor show.

The Audi RS3 rivaling hatchback, planned for UK sale before the end of 2012, forms part of BMW’s new M Performance line-up, joining the recently revealed M550d xDrive saloon and touring, X5 M50d and X6 M50d.

It is also the first three-door version of BMW’s second-generation 1-series that is set to be sold with the same range of four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines as its more practical five-door sibling from mid-year.

Although not a fully-fledged M-car, the M135i draws heavily on the year-old M135i Coupe, sharing its engine and gearbox among other go-fast components.

Full details are yet to be revealed, but BMW insiders hint new hatchback’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre in-line six-cylinder engine, the M54S as it is known internally, kicks out in the region of 320bhp, together with 332lb ft of torque.

Unlike the rear-wheel drive only M135i Coupe, though, Autocar can reveal that BMW plans to offer the new M135i hatchback with both standard rear-wheel drive and optional four-wheel drive. But like other non SUV xDrive models sold by BMW, the upcoming M135i xDrive is likely to come in left-hand drive form only, ruling out UK sales of the four-wheel drive version.

With a rumoured 1500kg kerb weight and power-to-weight ratio described as being better than 220bhp/tonne in rear wheel drive guise, Munich’s new hyper hatch is expected to deliver performance comparable to the M135i Coupe - 0-62mph acceleration in 4.9sec, 0-124mph in 17.3sec and a limited 155mph top speed.

Allied to the upgraded driveline is a heavily reworked suspension with wider tracks, lower ride height and larger 18-inch wheels than standard 1-series models. BMW describes the handling as offering “a noticeable improvement in overall agility and more precise characteristics”. The brakes have also been upgraded, with 360mm rotors appearing up front and 350mm units at the rear.

As previewed by the concept set to appear at Geneva, the M135i will receive a distinctive body kit to differentiate it from other less powerful three door 1-series hatchback models. Included is a deeper front bumper boasting typical M division styling cues, LED imbued headlamps, unique mirror housings, wider sills under the doors and a substantial rear bumper featuring a black lower section and twin tail pipes.

The good thing about this is its brand new and still under BMW's maintanance/warranty plans. We all know these cars are not cheap to fix!

Im gonna take a look at it in person next week at the Geneva Auto Show. Ill post up pics of it as well as the new Ferrari F12 Berlinetta amoung others.

Found out i can apply for an 8 year $45k chf interest free car loan making monthly payments very small....a new M135i awd hatch may fit the bill perfect! Will see what these badboys are gonna start at

Yeah, I saw those yesterday. Looks pretty cool. When I was in France the other year, I took lots of pictures of 1-series hatches. Remind me of the old M-Coupe a bit.

Don't think they are going to make it to the USA though. You are interested yourself?

Might be going to see this in a weekend or two:

This line in their press release leads me to believe otherwise and that we will most likely see them over here....

I know the U.S. isn't the only left-hand drive market but it makes it seem likely.

Really good looking car until the rear... Maybe it's better in person.

On the other hand that E92 M3 is just fire!!! Another BMW insta-classic.

EFI got 334whp/360wtrq on an auto 335i with only an AFE intake + AccessPort:

That's about 80whp over stock without even touching the cats or intercooler; amazing gains from those cars. Can't wait to see how the N55 single turbo will do with an intake + custom tune.

Yea they just explode to life with simple bolt-ons

Over on E90post Vishnu is supposedly putting down over 600whp on a stock N54 motor with their bolt on single turbo kit prototype.

I will admit that until proven otherwise I do have my doubts about the motor actually being 100% stock.

I believe it. Plenty of stock block supercharged M's making 500-600whp without issues.

The N55 will make pretty much the same as the N54 motor. There are quite a few examples of those as well if you go over to the BMW boards.

I just think the 335i looks too tame. As lame as it sounds, I'd almost rather have the slower/better looking car.

Yep, there is a silver 335is at Mt. Kisco BMW with 11k miles on it. They looks similar, but definitely aren't the same. The M3 has the fender flares, carbon roof, 19's, and a slew of other things. BMW takes good care of its M owners too.

I'd just grab a VF or Gpower Supercharger, and a lower final drive rear diff.

I look into the HPFP problems for the N54/N55 cars every few months to see if anything has been permanently fixed. Once again, disappointed that nothing has changed.

I so badly want a 2012 135i (facelift/N55) as my next car, but BMW just won't fix the one thing keeping me from getting it. There's something to be said about a RWD/turbo BMW that can hit 400whp with bolt-ons and weighs only 3,373lbs.

Johnny, that 1 Series hatch just doesn't do it for me. Looks like it was hit from the rear in it for some reason. Reminds me of the old Mercedez MLs...just didn't look right in the rear at all

Rj I'd tend to agree. The car isn't drop dead gorgeous in the art renditions but will have to see irl. I do think it has potential and it may fit my needs...will have to see.

I think we'd all agree that the e92 m3 that Greg posted is drop dead gorg. god damn if I didn't need a car that is snow capable I'd be all over it.

yes, I would ave to agree 110% on your second comment. If he doesn't make a good effort to get that car, I will be sure to head to his place and give him a swift kick in the nuts, courtesy of you and myself.

The OTS maps do the exact same thing, 80whp on a mustang over stock. This is why I am hesitant on buying the BMW software from Cobb as it was just released a month or 2 ago.

The OTS maps and BMW stock ECU's are just so good its really hard to beat the flash and go ROM's from Cobb.

It seems EFI is improving on the OTS Cobb maps though. This one is Cobb OTS 93 octane vs EFI custom 93 octane tune:

So, with the new E85 station coming to Danbury soon, I think I will be making the change over to E85 for the WRX. With that said, I want to make sure that I am getting the correct injectors and that my current fuel pump can handle the change.

Based on the E85 FAQ thread ( http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...1#post21693201 ), my flow should be somewhere around 959cc/min. So, I was thinking that I would go with 1,000cc

Currently, I only really know about DW injectors, but I know there are other options out there. Do you guys recommend I stick with the DW (insert flow size), or do you think I should look to another brand/size? I was considering going to 1,300cc injectors, but don't know if I need that big of a difference?

Chime in everyone! I want to soak in all the knowledge I can

Can anyone give me a good place to get fenders rolled? My rear tires are taking a major beating right now.
