Based on the E85 FAQ thread ( http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...1#post21693201 ), my flow should be somewhere around 959cc/min. So, I was thinking that I would go with 1,000cc

Currently, I only really know about DW injectors, but I know there are other options out there. Do you guys recommend I stick with the DW (insert flow size), or do you think I should look to another brand/size? I was considering going to 1,300cc injectors, but don't know if I need that big of a difference?

Chime in everyone! I want to soak in all the knowledge I can

I use 1300cc injectors for my E85 setup

I would definitely go with a 1000cc injector. The DW's or ID injectors are really the way to go. I'd talk to whomever will be tuning your car and see what they prefer.

Your walbro should be fine for the job. If you are running out of fuel at any point, Walbro is supposedly coming out with a 400lph pump that is E85 safe in the near future

I have 1000cc injectors with a walbro 255 and at 24lbs i'm not loosing fuel pressure.

Some what surprising.

If you look at the flow rates for that pump, they fall off dramatically at higher boost levels. I'd be willing to bet you are probably pretty close to the limits of your fueling setup.

He is right there. Car will not go richer than 11.7, but it is flat into fifth gear which is perfect.

Max, I need to take it for a drive!! Its been 26 hours since I owned an STi, I think I'm going into shock...

Come drive it, idc, i want you here when i start it cold so you can see what i'm talking about. sounds like a huge cammed out v8 haha. I'm wondering if the BOV's sticking open when i first start it. lol it's feeling a little down on power but for some reason this car always has when its a 1/4 of a tank and lower....maybe i'm just used to the new found power.

I saw you sold it, when's the GT-R coming or are you going to end up with something else? I still call shenanigans and that yer gonna be bored after 10k miles due to no actual clutch.

Actually, yes. Had my friend let me play with a 335i over a year ago. The tuning sucked at that time, as I could only play with the boost curve, but I was able to log everything. From the logs, I learned a lot in terms of where the cars should be boost/timing/afr ECT.

Contemplating buying the cobb key, but Im feeling cheap as the GT-R bug his bit me hard.

Max,

Exactly! Have you seen the resale value of an 09. I will drive it 10k miles, and sell it for little to no loss financially. After the GT-R, Ill probably buy an STi and an EVO and go hard with those as they are drivers cars FO SHO

Greg, for your E85 set up, do you have a 93 map as well, or are you full time E85? Just wondering if I should have a 93 map made up too. I don't think it's necessary seeing that I rarely drive the car, but wanted to check with you before I make my decision.

I know this was addressed to Greg but I would, I use my e85 99.999% of the time but there's that "what if" thought for emergencies, ya know? I use my 93 map to get me to the e85 gas station only.
