Fastest Legacy among us?
Ok, i'm sure someone in japan has a nastee a$$ legacy out there, but who (if anybody ) has a mean legacy here in the states?
What quater mile times are you/they running and what all have you done to your car to make it go? I've seen quite of few turboed 2.5 legacys out there, but none that seem to be super competative with the average "Modded" wrx. Fast legacies show yourselfs! Brent

Patrick Olsen likely would have the "fastest" Legacy around.
But he drives on those real tracks with curves & turns, not that silly 1/4 mile straight-line nonsense. -Brian |

Fastest or quickest?
Patrick may be fastest, but I don't know about quickest. Mine is pretty fast and will be faster very soon. But Patrick and I only do the twisty type of racing. Something about liking our transmissions and drivetrain. |

Ok, let's start by posting some numbers one way or another. I know it's kinda hard and pointless saying i have the quickest car around this track, with these mods with this weather....

Brent- no offense, but this thread is kinda pointless. Most Legacy owners do not overly concern themselves with 1/4 mile dragstrip times.
If you must have numbers, I suggest posting this query in the "Proven Power Bragging" forum. That's where people post their times & whatnot. -Brian |

You have a good point, but i think that forum is mainly for the imprezas right? That's why i posted it here as this is mainly legacy and thought it would be more appropriate.
Yeah, i know the legacy crowd at large is more mature than the impreza crowd and doesn't strut their stuff as much. I just wanna know for own twisted purposes to see how my car will eventually stack up. Brent |

i dont know the specs on mvstype's legacy but i would think JoeT has the fastest legacy among us if it isnt mvstype.
mvstype what numbers do you have or what are the specs on your car? i can give you a good comparison once i know. Ben edit:are we talking top speed or acceleration or both? usually fastest is top speed but many people have different interpretations. i am thinking overall performance, Joe's may be the quickest, i dont know about top speed though. |

Some guy had an early 90s Legacy with a supercharged H6. That was back in the day, but I'm sure it was fast.
