Default Crashed!! Need Suggestions

I was driving tonight, and almost got clipped in the rear by a honda civic in a turn, so i applied my brakes, and it sent the car into a violent understeer, and then it whipped, and spun around. It jumped up over a curb, and onto a hill. One wheel has rash, and had a whole bunch of plants and crap stuck in it. The car seems to drive fine. Besides getting an alignment, which I am going to do first thing tomorrow morning, what should I pay particular attention to???? If there is something suspension-wise that is messed up, I want to fix it now, before it messes something else up in the long run. Please help me out!!

take it to rich over at daland ... http://www.daland-autobody.com/ -- they have done countless things to my car, alignment, body work, etc. they have always taken great care of me and my car.

Wassup Bugnutty! Holdin' it down?

If you feel that your car is steering funny, most likely your alignment is way off and you've done some damage under there. You're better off taking it to a suspension shop or body shop where they can check it out. A tire shop can only do minimal adjustments to alignment.

I applied my brakes because I cannot afford to be out of a vehicle to drive, and there was a chance i could brake, and he would pass me as he was coming into my lane. I'd rather try to avoid an accident than to alllow it to happen and raise my already outrageous insurance even more. Im going to get the alignment done, and as long as it can be adjusted within specs and it drives fine, I wont worry i dont think.

SSFWRX: take your car to a body shop, NOT a tire shop ( unless you need tires ). rich at daland is straight up -- he'll find out what's wrong, and what isn't.
