If you have to ask, the answer is no. If you have no Engine Management yet, the answer is NO.

K&N Typhoon. Thats all you need to know. You can get the red crinkle finish that matches are intake runners. I love mine. The sound is absolutely awesome and factory BOV is 100X louder. Sweet. Im running Cobb AP Stg 1>93 and Borla STi cat back. No problems, cels. .
You will pick up app 12WHP. .and feel the difference. Search on this site for "K&N Typhoon" some nice posts and dyno charts to back it up along with A/F ratios. Even stock is filthy rich. . do not worry about the Typhoon leaning it out. |

It's not a good idea to run an aftermarket intake with Cobbs map. You may not have any check engine lights but that doesn't mean you are not harming your engine.
CarMuv I wouldn't do the intake --- Take that money and put it towards getting Engine Management if you don't already have it. -Bundy |

I have been running a blitz LM short ram with my utec base map....no problems at all, never once got a knock signal and I've had this setup for nearly a year.

i will suggest go with K&N tyhoon... if you got a UTEC as well, great. just bring your car to dyno tune for the intake. |
