My Sideways STI
UPDATE ON PAGE 5!
REBUILDING FOR 2013! I decided to make this thread for kicks. I'm sitting at home, doing nothing. I had a build thread on iWSTi for a while, but that got old really fast. Anyways, here's my 2008 RWD STI. I am the second owner of the car. Purchased the car early 2010, I did the conversion in January of 2011. The rest was history. Any questions? Ask. Haters have fun. Thanks, man. It was a fully custom setup done by 425 Motorsports. A second set of brackets were made to hold the second set of calipers. As far as elaborating on it goes, it locks up wayyyy better than my parking brake does, that's for sure. Haha. So initiating a drift is much more predictable.

Found a good video of it being done to a 240. so you have the normal e-brake. and then the hydraulic lever for the rear end? |

Any chance you have videos of a run through a course? I'd love to see some more action scenes that are longer than 13 seconds (of the car from the outside, not from the inside).

That's exactly what I was asking for, thank you sir! If you're ever in the NY area, I'll buy you a drink if you can let me ride shotgun around a few corners

What turbo are you running? Or is the built motor just for durability at high RPM?

Exactly. I spun a bearing early this year and I had to build my motor up to withstand what I put it through. Stock turbo @ 20 psi is more than I could ask for. |

I'm very satisfied with where my car is right now, but I'll take that into consideration. Thank you.
I have a few more things in mind for her, but as far as power mods goes, I'm really comfortable with how she drives at the moment. |

very cool. have always loved watching the videos that are floating around of the drifting. Nice to see someone doing something a little different with these cars. not much of a fan of the drifting on the public roads, but either way keep up the good work.

Kyleeeee!!!! Well, she's been digging a hole in pocket since day one, I just want to live a normal life! LOLOL. Honestly though, I've even been talking to Melina about it.... I can't even remember the last time I bought myself a shirt because all my money goes into my car! And really, I've just been focusing on school. Setting my priorities, making sure the future goes well.
Thanks man! Appreciate it! Quote:
