also.. I'm sort of toying around with the idea of having monthly-ish install / hang-out days here at the shop on random weekends (between race events..)

pretty much everyone would be welcome.. open up a couple bays for people to do whatever they need to do...

we have every tool here you'd ever need... from spark-plug sockets to tubing benders.

I dunno.. If anyone thinks they'd be down for that.. post it up, we can discuss... I guess.
I'm in for this. I'm always working on my 240, might as well make it a social thing.

I'd definitely appreciate some shop time. Do you have stuff to do a brake fluid flush? The important part is really the know how, since I have no idea what I'm doing.

It doesn't take much to flush your fluid Erik, I have a bleeding tool at my place.

And I'll reiterate my interest in an install day.

Ok, would you be comfortable doing mine? My 90k is quickly approaching meaning a couple things need to be flushed. Brakes, trans, rear diff, oil, coolant... I think that's about it.

Does this mean you've found one worth selling yours for? I might be interested in the speaker enclosure. Also, want to trade the pass through divider sections?

Installed my front mount 2 weekends ago. Got dyno tuned @ pure in toledo on tuesday.

Top mounts still up. Anyone need a top mount? Used FMS top mount. PM/text 440-606-6253
fits 08+ WRX. I did have to re drill/tap the bpv bolts so you will need to use larger than OEM bolts. Fits fine with OEM and after market bypass valve though.

Depending what time, I might be down for next weekend. I work thirds all weekend, and get off at 8 in the morning. If we were meeting up early enough where I didn't have to drive home I'd go.

I'm being obtuse, but are you saying that like 9-930 is too early, or that that constitutes 'day'....sorry, that's what never sleeping does to me sometimes.

dude.. I hear you... I have like 4 hours of sleep over the last 3-4 days..

and... I need to be at Mid-O in like 5 hours.. ugh.. tomorrow will be a long day..

by "day" I mean.. we start whenever someone shows up.. could be early-ish in the morning.. and go until everyone is done..

if people need to thrash.. and work through the night.. that's cool too...

we've done some crazy stuff in a weekend..

Yeah, we are definitely in the same boat in terms of sleep, and that explains why we are the only ones on here at night.

So do you race for a living? Or do you just go to lots of events? Sounds like hard work, but fun. If I had the funds, I'd do it myself.

As for the install day, if you were cool with meeting up at like 9-930 on Saturday or Sunday to help me knock out those trailing arm bushings, that would be sweet. (they're the turn in concepts ones, btw)

Let me know what time and day you will be at the shop and I'll stop by. Might be a good time to get the brake flush out of the way. Also post up or PM me the location.
