Three things I don't like on any car
1) Roof racks left on year round, mostly snowboard racks. (Honda owners) 2) stick figure family decals. I don't care you think your family is made up of sticks. 3) Apple stickers, we know you only use your Ipad or $1500 macbook pro to surf the internet, and nothing else. 4) Drop in HID kits, if your car didn't come with it, don't add it! 5) Any bugeye with morettes. They were cool in...2002. 6) I <3 JDM stickers on Honda's...I mean Subaru's...really now. |

I think alot of people that whine about Morette lights looking dated just need to drive a car with them, the light output is so much better, and unreal with hids. The only lights I would go with on my car other than the Morettes are EDM projectors or modded JDM projectors.

I like my morettes. But as we've all said throughout this thread, to each his own. Or hers for that matter. I'll gladly put in some JDM projectors, if you'll gladly find them, buy them, and send them my way. Lol

i disagree with this. the light output is so much better than stock. especially if you take the time to retrofit it right with a reputable kit from TRS or projectors from many cars that come with them stock.

I love my bugeye. There are many like them but this one is mine. I never regret owning a Subaru, maybe I regret not buying an STi the first time, but some day Ill dive into a $38,000 moving debt. About the rant earlier, I am a Burn-UP headlight kind of guy. Those dry carbon fiber headlamps were beautiful. So is a WRC bumper to go with it. But its all just a dream now.

I've found that, to get that depth, you need to make a sacrifice. Candy yellows always look like baby s**t out of direct sunlight and fantastic in it... It's so annoying. So instead, I went back to a solid color and we did this test: It's mirror yellow with a satin clear from the red line down (glossy looks to "pretty," IMO) and I just like satin colors.. Pretty sure this is where I'm gonna end up. LMK your thoughts and thanks for the feedback, boys! Last edited by barnburner; 05-18-2012 at 09:07 PM. |

Oh how beat up my car is, but I figured I might as well toss it in here instead of always lurking!
