42 ?
grab some olde' janq's spirit and go to town would be my guess.

in all seriousness i would go insane
i can't fly a plane, so i would b stuck on the continental US/south america
and if i get hurt in a major way i am dead no matter what with no doctors
I would more than likely get on the intraweb and post on ever board/blog i knew to see if anyone was there.

eventually the grocerie stores woudl run out of food since i can't farm it, make it, or anything.

i gues it would be cool for a while, but after a few years i would probably go crazy without the electricity, tv, internet, new cars, no plane, no train...

actually it would be pointless to b alive, i woudl kill myself after 10 years of looking for other people, without a doubt.

First thing I'd worry about would be roaming packs of hungry animals domestic and wild.
Dogs left to their own devices and/or when hungry or scared are unpredictable.

I'd first get myself over to the gun store and get myself Brucelee.
Next I'd try everything Omaha said for the exact same reasons as I too would be stuck to North & South America.
Then there's food and potable water. If people are gone then so are those who work the power stations as well as those who support the water filtration and pumping plants.
Load up on a good portable generator from Home Depot.

Most probably I'd be fine for years then ultimately go mad although I strongly doubt I'd end myself.
I'd be like that old codger who lived in the Forbidden Zone from 'Logans Run'.

After I search all the gov't buildings to find all hte secrets and secret items, I'd have to fly over to europe/asia. DEF would have to drive the WRC car.

taking off and flying a plane can be done wtih little instruction, as far as landing, Just take a military bomber that has an "Eject" handle. Then you could point that sucker at somthin and bail out, and watch teh sparks fly

yeah this is a cool question.
Ok, gona put thought into it
1. I'd do as jang (g not q) said and get me some guns.
2. get food, lots of canned stuff.
3. travel around, like most, looking for surviors. before I did that I'd get me a few doggies though, few reasons
3a. they will protect you
3b. they are someone to talk to
3c. they are cute
3d. animals know more than we do, plus they are more attentive to thingies.

4. I'd travel everywhere. no limits on things. can't fly? learn to.
no? try a boat. gas is unlimited, it is everywhere, there are millions of cars/boats/blah out there.
5. load up on gas additives incase I need any. every store is free, lots of things u can use.
6. read about farming/growing food/hunting.
7. if I was to stay in one area, I'd get me some animals or something (with my new truck). have them hump and have lots of kids. take said guns, and shoot them in the face (with regret, I don't like killing stuff) and eat their meat. Me and the doggies can eat well
8. wack off in the street cuz I can.
9. god I don't know what else, there is so much.
10. never end myself. do my best to survive

that would be cool.

First stop: the gun store.
second stop: the hardware store, purchase? Generator Big generator and buckets, huge tubs, maybe even DRUMS.
third stop? steal a tanker truck or take the drums to a gas station.
fourth stop? army surplus store. Stock up on shoes, MREs, BDUs, Canoe, fishing gear, bug spray, tent.. the essentials.. basically anything I can pile into the back of a pickup truck.
I'd have to stay close to a pharmacy. Being on prescription meds sucks as long as I get those meds I'll be fine. Once the meds run out I prolly got 1 maybe 2 months to live. But i wouldn't want to live those last two months so I'd /myself.

but i'd either live in my house (why for? no tv. no electricity, no running water?) or out in a tent in the woods somewhere. Hunt deer, small prey, grow vegetables, herbs, hit up rivers and lakes for fish. I Could probably live on my own for ever as long as I had said prescription meds.

interesting.....

I'd prolly start out with getting a Uhaul truck and looting food stores, sporting goods stores, and stocking up at the local ClassIII gun store. I'd set up shop close to an airport as I can fly and would do so.

If there was still electricity I would constantly attempt contact with someone else. I don't think that the yearing for human contact would ever go away.

I'd prolly end up tracking down a Real Doll and naming her Lizzie.

you have no idea how easy it is to make drugs man. If you can cook (follow a recepie), I'm sure you can follow a protocol. Either that, or I'll "re-appear" and charge u $1000,0000 per pill you need, even though money isn't worth anything. It is the thought that counts

yea me too... just thinking about it makes me sad...

Sure it would be fun to run-a-muck and do what you please... but it would all be pointless with nobody to share it with..

Now if I had my good friends with me, girlfriend, and family... that would rock... especially since my good friend in HS just got his commercial pilots liscense..

I would get my ass to the Ferrari dealer about a half hour away from here...once I was out in my F40 that they have on display, I would drive the piss out of it for a while then pull over to look at it and have sex with the tailpipes.

Then I would eat and eat and eat and eat and eat because eating is my favorite thing to do. Hell, I wouldnt have to impress anyone so I'd eat like mad until I was 400lbs. I'd probably die of a heart attack before dying of anything else.
