Dom 3XTR 10cm Housing 5k Miles
After a lot of debate, it came down to me finally making the decision to part with this great turbo. For my daily driver needs I am looking for the 20g I guess. This is the newer XTR version with the 10cm housing and 2.4"inlet. This has 5k miles on it and is in like new condition. I had my tuner take a look at it and there are no issues with it. No shaft play. Need to get rid of asap so I can go after a 20g. I guess looking to get $1k or best offer?
Please PM me with offers.

Never put on car...bought used approx 3 months ago until my tuner said that I should go the 20g route. He said I will not be happy with this turbo unless my motor was built. The dyno's he showed me were around the 385hp on 93octane mark however the boost came on later than I would want.

You'd probably have to use E85 / race gas along with basically every bolt on possible (full exhaust including headers, FMIC, etc), and a crazy tune to hit 500whp with that turbo, even then I'm not sure you could do it lol

Are you sure is 10cm2 back housing? Does it have any markings?
I am not 100% sure but the guy that was selling the turbo originally said it was a 8cm2 |

Juan..yes positive. Has the marking on it..10cm. I wanted an 8cm not 10, which is why im selling it. Tuner checked it out and confirmed 10cm housing.

Crazy low price for an XTR! I bought mine used for $1350 about 6 months ago.
In a 100 degree dyno cell, my car put down 340whp on this turbo, stock motor, 93 octane, uncorrected. My tuner told me that with 30 degrees less temperature and I'd see another 30 hp easily. As for spool... I have full boost (21psi) by 3400 rpm in a very repeatable powerband. Sure with my VF39, I had full boost by 2800 rpm but the extra power is definitely worth the wait. This is all on a spearco TMIC too btw, expect another 300-400 rpm spool with an FMIC. |
