Java/J2EE dudes - help me with a DataSource problem
This has to be the only post that's cross-posted from the Sun forums:
http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp...01967&tstart=0 Figured I might as well ask OT, since this has been driving me ape**** most of the afternoon. Thanks Raj ---- Hi, I am having some problems connecting my data source to a DB2 database running on a remote server. Here is what I have: IDE: WebSphere Enterprise Studio Developer JDBC Provider: com.ibm.db2.jcc.DB2XADataSource I have DB2 running on a remote machine (server1) and also on my local machine. Even if I have the serverName property set to "server1", it keeps connecting to my local machine's DB2 instance. If I change serverName to something nonsensical, no errors are thrown. How do I get the data source to connect to the instance running on server1? Thanks, Raj --- CN: Raj asks JDBC question on OT.
