Nice shot! Your so lucky to be out on the west coast to have been able to even go to JGTC, much less get to drive on the same track!

Thanks

I am sure JGTC will come to the east coast if the response from the west coast event is good. Just look at drifting. If it is profitable, they will come.

I have a short clip of the JGTC Cusco at the start of the race but I don't have a place to host it.

Really?

Now I heard WRC might be coming to the West Coast that would be fun.

Sometimes I think it is better to watch racing on TV you see alot more because being there you can't follow action like on TV.

The smell, atmosphere, and noise is what really we miss out on.

The event was horribly organized, the track was horrible!!! We shouldve had it at Laguna Seca or Willow Springs one of the better tracks, I dont htink anyone would've minded the extra drive. I mean come on a wannabe circuit racing track, the night racing was very awesome though. I didnt stay for the drift the next day but, I did stay for the 1st JGTC sprint race. The food sucked, it was like 4 dollars for a pos hot dog and the cheeseburgers didnt even have lettuce. I felt ripped off, for 50 dollars we shoudlve gotten more bang for the buck. There were also a lot of hoochies there, you guys probably like that but thats not my thing. The umbrella girls on the other hand, damn those are some really beautiful women, classic japanese. I love fob women hehe. When I get the dig camera photos from my uncle I'll post the pics I had, I got many photos of the Subaru Cusco Advan car UP CLOSE and photos with the umbrella girl. She smelled good hehe. Also, when I was in the Subaru tent, one of the promotion girls wouldn't stop talking to me, damn I'm hot haha.

I agree it is kinda boring.

It is one of those things that you wish you get to see it live when you don't get to, then when it gets here, nothing special, just a bunch of loud race cars running around.

I enjoyed it this 1st time, but I won't be going to another one.

Don't know what you guys were expecting but as a motorsports enthusiast, not just a guy who likes driving fast on the street, the JCTC was awsome. I flew out for it. Of course I actually stayed and watched the race. The podium event had like 100 people there. Most looked at the girls all day, watched 2 laps and left. As far as the main event and the time attacks the next day, it was excellent. True it is perhaps boring by some measures. Like WWF measures. As far as a race, as good a F1 US Grand prix. True enthusiasts need not attend. You will be bored. Guaranteed. It is a race not MardiGras.

I went for 1 day but stayed for 2 and will go back. I got great pics of the Cusco car. Spoke with the STi techs and Cusco engineers. Met drivers and team principals in the hotel. That is what it is about.

The organization was quite bad. My exibitor sticker got me in here one minute and not in there another minute. the Car club laps were screwed up beyond belief. Of course attendance was probably 2,3 times what they were expecting. They need to work on that for sure.

I was there I think behind you. The place is just too damn big, most of the time we spent on was walking. It was kind of boring at some point, but overall I think it's worth the money, especially I took like 1G of pictures for the 2 days event.

I agree, when the night race went on so many people got bored with the race. I stayed for the entire 2 1/2 hrs i think it was, it didnt even feel like 2 1/2 hrs. Now I know I want to get into motorsports for sure, theres just so much passion there (to me). However, regarding people just leaving, yea those were the guys that just wanted to see the girls and all the showcars, I was rather dissapointed with the quality of the import cars there. They all seemed to be the same ol' same ol', I was really impressed with an American muscle car that was at the show car, the Orange 1969 Mustang GT. A lot of show, not enough go. I will go next year if they have it again, I just wanna see the Subaru Cusco Advan car, even the Cusco Evo. Those cars were awesome. I just hope they hold the event somewhere else next year, the track was just a horrible place to go.

I had fun. The night race was kind of fun to watch. See the flames shoot out and the glowing rotors. I stayed until they started the tandem drifting on sunday. It was pretty nice seeing them start their drift as for the inital turn.

Drove back to AZ. Didn't get home till 4am

It was fun to watch. Reminds me that I'd rather be driving instead of watching though.
I also managed to sneak on for the fan lap-CGM STi with gold rota torques and the front lip. I had an SUV following me

I've been a JGTC fan since day one so to see the cars and hear them up close was worth the 20 bucks ahahahaa.

I agree with too much walking, but driving to Seca would have been worst.

JGTC once a year and 45 mins from the OC would be very cool.
