Forgot about Vlad the Impaler Radmanovic.

Also, most likely Nate Robinson.

I was surprised no one had picked up Nate Robinson yet. There are a few other free agents still unsigned that I am surprised at.

Leandro Barbosa, Matt Barnes, Lou Amundson, Marquis Daniels, Derek Fisher, Anthony Parker, Mickael Pietrus. None of them are spectacular talents by any measure, but are certainly good enough to help some team.

LeBron James Admits Current USA Basketball Team Couldn't Beat 2012 Miami Heat

LONDON-In a stunning revelation, small forward LeBron James humbly conceded Tuesday that the current U.S. Olympic basketball team lacked the athleticism and talent to defeat the 2012 Miami Heat. "Team USA is solid, and we have some pretty good guys, like Kobe, Durant, and James, but there's no way we could possibly compete with James, Wade, Chalmers, Battier, and Bosh," said James, adding that the 2012 Miami Heat was loaded with too many superstars. "If we relied on LeBron, it might not be a blowout, I suppose. Still, the 2012 Miami Heat squad is the best of the best." James, who told reporters the U.S. basketball team had a coaching advantage over the Heat, struggled for several minutes trying to recall the name of Miami's "****ty coach."

Anthony Parker retired... not sure about the rest though...

it looks like finally this whole where Dwight Howard is gonna go is finally over!

"Howard to the Lakers, Andre Iguodala going to the Nuggets, Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson to the Sixers, while the Magic would receive at least Arron Afflalo, Nikola Vucevic, Moe Harkless and a first round pick from each of the other teams."

Deal done. Dwight Howard to the Lakers.

Quote:
A four-team trade that would send Dwight Howard to the Los Angeles Lakers is complete, multiple sources told ESPN on Thursday night.

A source with direct knowledge of the talks told ESPN.com's Marc Stein the Lakers will receive Howard, the Denver Nuggets will acquire Andre Iguodala, the 76ers will receive Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson, and the Magic will get Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, Nikola Vucevic and one protected future first-round pick from each of the other three teams.

Yup. The Lakers get what they wanted again.

Still, losing Bynum and Gasol is a steep price.

Edit: Wait, they didn't lose Gasol as previously reported? **** the Lakers really do get everything they want.

Hello Dwight. Nice to meet you!

I feel bad for Iguodala a bit. You just won a gold medal?.. That's nice, don't come back home.

Edit: I have a feeling they're going to bring back Phil Jackson...

I think MWP hits the bench in favor of Jamison. Jamison averaged ~20 ppg ~7 rpg last season (I know for the Cavs). He can get his own shot waaaay better than metta. I'd bet money he is the starter by December if not right away.

While I agree that he can get better shot, I feel that he will come off the bench to score. The Lakers bench really lacked scoring last season.

Hey Cristian. I see you posting. A franchise player has been added to one of the 15 major sports teams you support, why haven't you commented yet.

I'd imagine.

You sniveling Laker fans get what you want and smash victory pinatas outside the Staples center.

Another case of the Lakers bending over a team to get what they want.

Laughable.

Orlando went through **** for a few years to get ****.

Lakers get Howard and Nash? Should be an interesting season.

Also, I hate Miami but they'll probably end up in the championship again. I'm still rooting for the Knicks.

TADA!!!! The NBA everyone!

The other major franchises, our favorite teams included, get free agents from the history and legacy.

The Lakers get free agents from the history and legacy. And raping the 76ers, the Bucks, the Grizzlies, and now the Magic.

I think you can sorta count the Suns as well since they signed off on Nash going to the Suns out of love for the Canadian as opposed to making a better basketball deal.

Nothing like barebacking with no lube.

Nash gave so many good years to a bad Phoenix team though. Without whining to management. While I hate his destination I'm happy they shipped him somewhere he might win.

I've had conflicted feelings about Nash in LA from the start.

I agree. I always have liked Nash.

However, isn't this a business like everyone says? If I am the Suns, I am trying to win. I will make the best deal possible. Then again, the ass raping by the Lakers might feel good.
