Welcome to the NASIOC Project Cars Forum
Hey Guys,
This request has been on the block for a while now from both vendors and members. This forum will be for the build up of project cars, built by both vendors and individuals. For now we're going to start slow, but soon we'll be taking requests for addition to this forum. Posting new projects is limited only to those with permission to do so by having an approved NASIOC project car. We'll post details on how to submit your project as soon as we work out the kinks.

I hereby volunteer to (crash) test any and all project cars on the following tracks:
- NHIS - Lime Rock Park - Summit Point (main circuit) - Mont Tremblant - Mosport - Watkins Glen Please PM me for my services. You might want to schedule early, considering that everyone would want to jump in on this opportunity. Raj |

Awesome idea.
Now what venders want to sponsor me for a STI drivetrain swap in my car? Seriously though, I'd love to see a step-by-step buildup of a turbo swap into a GC. |

so, how do we go about posting our awesome projects, if the forum's locked? I think it'd be cool to keep up a running log of what's going on with my cars... I mean, project is the same thing as broken, right?

Settle down boys... we're coming up with the rules... and most likely an actual application for to get your project submitted in here. It won't be a free for all, but only specifically approved project cars will be allowed to post in here. We will post the rules and information when they are available.
We want this new forum to be informational and 100% on topic... so we're going to have very strict rules try eliminate useless chatter. That means posts like... "Sweet Ride" and "Nice Car" won't be found here, and are in fact likely to earn you points. We're serious about the fact that this forum will be as down to business as possible. |

......and is this going to be "subaru only"? Washing the wife's Outback is about as "subaru" as I get. I'll be putting a B series engine in my CRX racecar this winter, though.

I thought it was going to be like one thread per project car... this could get quite cluttered pretty quickly.
Any idea when the rest of us will be able to apply? --Andy |

Quick and dirty layout explanation before the rules are fully posted : One thread to explain the project and introduce themselves will be stickied and will link to all the individual sections of the project. Each individual section of the project will have it's own thread.
I'm not entirely sure where the development of the rules are (I've been absent all weekend), but I know that Nick has been in direct contact with Perrin to guide them through getting the forum populated with the prototype layout of the first project for the forum. |

I'm going to be quite curious to see what projects get the nasioc stamp of approval...and to see what is required of the project.

Yes... as long as you guys keep adding stuff and you do full writeups on it here, not just in video form.

Hopefully very soon... most likely the end of this week. We just need to get organized first. |
