Great Pixs!!

I was at the show with my sons on the last Saturday of the show and it was very crowded. We took lots of photos too, but there were so many people (we estimated 40,000) that you could hardly move or take good photos without someone getting in the shot. You look like you had a nice wide open space in which to work. It was exhausting worming your way around through that mass of people. We stayed 6 hours and still missed a lot of the cars. What day did you attend?

We are thinking of going during the week and take some days off of work next year to avoid the massive crowds. They even had a huge extravaganza with Circ du Solei (I think that is how you spell it) acrobats, people hanging from the ceiling, women in lycra swinging on ropes, rock music and smoke and lights. This was all at the Chrysler booth (how else to attract attention to a lame line of cars). I was really tough to move around. People were jammed in everywhere and they turned the lights down so we lost each other in the crowd. Glad we had our cell phones to call each other and find where everyone went.

Anyway, your pictures are really nice. Thanks again for sharing.

Litespeed, I attended the show on a Friday and arrived at 12pm. The first Friday, if my memory is right. Taking pictures at any large show requires an extreme amount of patience. A zoom lens helps too, but the first is foremost. On some of the shots I had to wait 5-10 minutes alone. I ended up draining my two batteries of my digital camera right away. I felt rushed and wanted to go back the next day to shoot more, but, the group was against me [except me dad].
I would like to give props to my camera, which made this all possible.........

Great pics. So many nice cars, I think I'll take one of each! Good work getting shots of the F1 cars, those are my fav. The Detroit show blows NYC away -- we don't get Ferrari or Lambo.

I am shocked that the showed the Buick Bangle when it just recently got the official RED light.

The RX-8 looks great... those are actually the first shots of a production verison I have seen.

And the Ferraris... wow.

In2Deep, I thought that the new RX8 looked like an S2000 hardtop. I believe that the new 350Z and RX8 are similar in idea. Which would I choose? Neither. Although I agree with Nissian for offering five different levels of model offerings, I do not agree with the $34,000 price tag. I think that they should have brought the car back to its old stature of being a great, affortable, fun, and nimble 2 seater. They were on to something with the pre '90 Turbo Z. Light and fast. Why can't Japanese manufactures create a car using Carol Shelby's philosophy
