Why the hell does this still exist? It's a friggin' mobile whale and the people who drive them thick they're the best thing in the world. Get a small car and learn how to drive.
What a stupid waste of money. |

whats with all the hate?
this thing can probably tow your subie and carry your whole family along in comfort. its probably the most practical one too compared to others in its class if you're looking for this type of vehicle. |

I don't subie, bro. Every other country in the world can get by just fine without a vehicle of this size, why can't we? 95 percent of the people who own these don't tow ****. They throw their purse in the passenger seat, their 2 and only kids in the back, and drive to Cold Stone. They buy them because they feel safe, and because it's what every other upper middle class white family of 4 buys. The boat dad bought 3 years ago sits in the driveway except for the 2 times a year he convince the family to on an outing with him. But again, I'm not looking for this type of vehicle, and never will. If I need to pull something, I borrow my friends pick up. |

Guess I will be seeing these showing up in the parking lots of low-income housing complexes shortly.

I just hope the new models can fit 3 people in the rear seat, and that the rear seat folds flat. Otherwise it will be another Expedition EL in my future. I love my land barge (and my WRX).

Meh I guess I just don't really care, but to each their own, I assume Escalade owners would say "why would you want a 4cyl turbo sedan?"
If I need to tow something, I tow something; as long as it's not greater than 1500/2700lbs with T-brakes :-P |

GM fullsize SUVs are arguably the most versatile new vehicle available for sale. Personally, I've hauled engines and transmissions inside the SUV's; pulled boats, cars, heavy duty equipement long distances; driven cross country, comfortably; forged off road trails; jumped; it's the only vehicle I know of (aside from H1) that can sit outside during snow-storms and not require any scraping of the windows (heated washer system). They are comfortable, require almost zero maintenance, bland, are a workhorse in sheep clothing, and above all they all basically have the same interior refinement as the Escalade. |

There's so much stupid in that thinking from GM.
Maybe I'm too set in my ways, but I can't stand when companies start over-using a name. Don't they remember what happened to the Cutlass name plate in the 80's? |

Column shifter = failboat. There is nothing, and I mean abso****inglutely nothing, luxurious about a column shifter. That C pillar on the long wheelbase version is a hot mess, too. Why section the window when you can slide the whole thing down into the door? Why are there like 3 pillar garnishes at the little unnecessary window?
