Default Salon International de l'Auto (Geneva International Auto Show) Planning Thread

So this years shows are done with/claimed, and now its time to start planning for next year.

Who wants to tag along next year? 79th Geneva International Auto Show is going to be either in March or April. Once I know the exact date Ill post it up.

Only thing I'm providing for who ever comes along is a press pass for the press days. (the days when its empty and free food/alcohol.) So that means you need to pay for airfare and hotel for yourself.

People Banned from applying to go: upnygimp, Lord####

The show dates are March 5 2008 -- March 15 2008. First four days should be press/industry only days, so those are the only days I'm worried about. After that maybe hit the trains and wonder around Europe.

Just been building up a resume with the events and stuff ive gotten into as press over the past 2 years. Once I had NYIAS on it, it became a lot easier to get into any auto event.

By January? Id like to get most of the crap sorted out and not have a repeat of Japan where it was chaos with a month of planning.

Last year when I checked it was about 2k for a week and a half with flight.

Press days are the first 4 days, then its open to the public for about a month.

I was also thinking about staying in Geneva for a week, (can see the whole show in 1-2 days) then jump over to Prague for the remained of e the 4-5 days to Oontz it up.

On the plus side if you were standing near me, I would go from a 10 to a 76 Instantly. All the hot euro slore's will be clammering for some dark American meat. Either way I still win

I like to think I am far less annoying than upnygimp, and my presence could also make you go from a 10 to a 76 or possibly even an 80, automatically. Your darkness would truly stand out in the presence of a pasty white redhead like me

Don't take him, you turn your back and he'll have torched the Audi AND Ferrari booths, hijacked an M3, and hightailed it out of there.

Easy now! My animosity towards Audi is only because they've preached the gospel of diesel for a few years now and have yet to come through on their promises of it for the street That and I like cheering for the underdog, so I'll cheer for anyone to beat Audi or Corvette in ALMS

Now the Ferraris.... yeah... you might have to check me for lighter fluid if I get near them
