How to clean interior roof / ceiling liner?
Hi,
I recently bought a 2006 wrx wagon (3rd owner); most of the interior is fairly clean already actually, but the roof (ceiling?) liner has some dirt streaks / black marks on it. What would be a good way of removing the streaks neatly? Also what do you recommend for cleaning the seats? After cleaning the seats I was going to use Scotchguard on the interior ... is that a good idea? Thank you! |

id say just use some soapy water on a rag.... just make sure the rag isn't SOAKED but just damp
and go at the marks, that's what i did and it seemed to work as for cleaning the seats.. remove them completely, easy to do they just unbolt. then use a carpet steamer, (such as a rug doctor from the grocery store) |

Just black out the interior. When finished it looks better than new! Plus the wagon headliner comes out really easy.

Take a damp sponge and all purpose cleaner and go over your headliner lightly. Don't get it soaked. You can do the same thing on your seats. I have never used scotch guard but after cleaning your seats a protection product is always a great idea because it will prevent more stains and dirt settling.
