Now that you have had it on for awhile, any regrets on the smy cluster? I really want a center gauge mount but the ati one sucks, seems like the smy is my best bet. Might be ordering one very soon.

Nope, I still like it a lot, and I still think it's the best option out there. Looks totally OEM with my Defi gauges.

I wish Defi would make a red with white needle to match the stock cluster. little thing like that would bother me.

Yeah, I'm a pretty picky guy, but it's really not something I notice. It's more one of those things that you pick up on when you're staring at pictures online, but when you're in the car you probably wouldn't even notice.

I disagree, that's why I went with the Prosport that matches, hopefully it will last somewhat close to a Defi lol.

The ProSports do look pretty good, but they're just not up to the same level as the Defi's. The fact that they're not an OEM color match, including dimming with the headlights, makes me not want them. Under the right lighting, and the red color setting they look OK. The other problem is that they seem to work fine for several months to several years and then they just die. ProSports aren't "bad", but they're just not for me. The price is very good, but there are downsides that come along with that.

Quick question for you and I apologize if you have gone over it before, but for the flip key can it be done to a 05 STI key? I believe it has the chip in the key where the car wont start with another key.

P.s. I absolutely love your build and have it saved so I can check out the updates!

Yes, you'll need to use an 09 Legacy key instead of the 2011 Legacy key. You'll have to transfer the transponder chip over from your OEM key. The process is basically the exact same as I outline in the thread linked above, except you use the 09 Legacy key. If you have any other questions, please send me an e-mail via NASIOC.

I don't play as much any more, but I'm planning on playing this weekend. I do know Mike Brown. Here's my newest paintball toy:

Xluben's transition from Stock, SPT, Invidia................. to Greddy will go down in Subaru history. So many exhausts.

Also, I bought my WRX's SPT based on your high quality 'stock vs SPT' video, Xluben. I have since bought an STI and bought the nameless 5" axelback to complement. Sadly (for me) it's quieter than the SPT, thinking about their 4". This means their Magnaflow must be quiet and darn close to Greddy in terms of volume.

-Keep up the good build

Geo3? That thing is sick. I have a 2.1 myself.. I'm the same way. I went from playing D2 every weekend to maybe once/twice a year. I miss the absolute **** out of it. I also play extremely competitive men's travel softball so it get's in the way with playing paintball every weekend

I also had the Tsudo, ARK and two GReddy's. When I heard the 5" Nameless I thought it was pretty loud. I have heard their Magnaflow version is very quiet. Do you have a hatch or sedan? For the WRX and STI?

Yes, it is a GEO3. I was playing every weekend, but this year I played close to zero. I don't have time any more. It's not much fun once you get ranked higher either. Especially around here. There are absolutely no tournaments I could play in without driving at least 8 hours. I think I'll have to just wait out my rank dropping back down. I believe I'm down to D3 right now. Maybe D4 next year?

Ha, yeah, I hear you there. My APPA is down to D5 because I haven't done anything competitive.. It's probably so not fair but it probably wouldn't hurt to sandbag a tourney once in a while.. lol

STI but I dont see why i would matter. Hatch though for sure. I wouldnt even comment unless I had a hatch. Sedan and hatch exhaust can sound worlds apart and the sedan is always louder (outside the car).

My 5" nameless has great rumble at parking lot speeds (and made great numbers yesturday when i got tuned) but is slightly quieter than the spt. Where its different the most is at WOT. The spt was much louder. I miss WOT but i dont miss the drone.
