Post Driving to downtown dallas at rush hour

whats my best bet????

I work near the tollway in plano (not toll tag though)

35 and 75 are equidistant.

I'm leaving at 4:45 what is my best bet to get to downtown?

Thats a toss up. 75 gets slow a few miles before 635. I havent driven 35 in a while. I think 75 is the best bet.

man your best bet is to take 75 dont take anything else trust me it will take forever take 75 i take it all the time gf works at downtown ymca

depends where you wanna go downtown... Central will take you pretty easily to the center(imagine that) of downtown, but it does get really bad right around 635 because, it seems that no matter how many times people drive that way, they're always totally surprised when central narrows to 2 lanes because the exits for 635 take 2 of them away... 35 is usually pretty crowded, but if you're goin' somewhere in west dallas, you won't have to drive thru all the lights downtown. I swear those things are timed so no matter what, you will get stuck at all of them...
