The new Ultimate version.

Even if you don't mess with all the new stuff, you'd be able to set the A/F for a solid power curve, right? That's most of what matters to me. My mechanic and I will probably play around with the general settings to get my car running. I'd just like it tuned for a decent A/F curve when it's all said and done.

David Bushur wants me to limit sunday tuning to after 12:00 PM if at all. People in wakeman are starting to complain.

I may try to get out a little earlier in the week... perhaps thursday through Sunday. I'll keep everyone up to date.

Cheers

Cool.. I'd be happy to work with this.

I believe this verison controls fuel and timing independent of the stock ECU .... I'll find out and get back to you.

Yeah, my understanding is that it's just shy of a full standalone. Should be "interesting" for me to play with. I'll feel a lot better when you're tuning it.

I'll look into grabbing a slot.

Submitted the form. Probably looking for Saturday, but I can be flexible. As long as I can get tuned, I'll try to work around whatever timeslots are available.

I can switch to Friday if I have to. Or I can get out there earlier than "after ten" on Sunday.

I stayed at a place right off the turnpike. I can't remember if it was a Motel 6, but I think it was. Not that great, but I've certainly stayed in alot worse places.

Tim, there are all kinds of hotels near Norwalk, and Sandusky is only about 12 miles up Rt 250. That is the home of Cedar Point the amusement park, and plenty of hotels there as well. I am in for Thursday if that's an option.

I misread. After noon on Sunday is fine with me . For some reason I read before noon. I just realized that made no sense and reread your post.

Tim, I still havent been able to sell my 30R yet.. Can you give me an idea as to how much boost and power I could potentially make if I have to run it again? (on 110) I'd really like to go 35R, but I haven't even gotten an offer on the 30R...

Tim,

With the new Ecutek is it possible to tune one map for just fuel and one map for the alchy injection? I'd like to have a normal map for every day driving and one for the autox. I'm all about quick spool this time

And yes...hell or high water I will have the mechanics finished when it goes up there. One day of above 40 degree weather and I could finish it

Yes, I can tune two totally different maps that you can load with easy ecu software and the supplies ODB2 port.

That's strange. Everyone needs a GT series turbo of some sort.

On ported heads and 2.5 block we recently made 500 tq and power with a 30r and c16. 32 psi midrange tapering to 28. But that power and tq was measured on a dynapack dyno. Subtract a bit for the buschur dyno.

Did Slorice stay on the dyno too long that day??

sorry about your wait last time.

I do my best to stay on schedule. Going first in the day has its advantages... any delays start with your car.

Seriously though, I've done a lot more remote dyno days since your tune..... I'm better at staying on track and on schedule. That said, as long as we have a defined schedule there may be delays but i will not put others ahead of your without a good reason AND your permission.

See ya later

To make maximum power on race fuel you'll need another fuel pump. Get a Buscher double pumper system. Two walbro 255s.

If memory serves me correctly you have an EBC? Dtec??

MAF voltage is an unknown as your blow through MAF is custom. You hit a max of 4.4 MAF volts on the last tune. The last 0.6 volts offer a lot of headroom on most cars.

I made 590ish on my last blow through MAF housing. I'd be more than happy send this to you to model or you can buy it if you like.....

ScoreBo is going to the perrin blow through tubing. I've not yet done one of these at higher power levels. I'm not sure how much flow it will support.
