yes my projects are delayed, but i set a a schedule to have them running good before march dates mentioned.

as stated, i understand Tim is a great tuner (thats EXACTLY why i wanted my car tuned by Tim).

On the other hand, Tim has not responded to any of my emails / phone calls to let me know i can for sure reserve a date to be tuned. nor to give me any advice or details.

Sorry i don't post on NASIOC everyday. that still doesnt mean that i did not read this forum.

Tell me to search. I'VE SEARCHED. i wanted specific advice from a good tuner, wouldve been 3 minutes of yes/no questions and i wouldve happily paid whatever it costs.

If Tim is short in this area on either march 6,7,8 CALL ME, you have my number numerous times in your email, just check it...

i do apoligoze for the immaturity displayed, i hate to pollute a good thread. i just want to have my car up and running ASAP. Thats not asking too much??
What are your questions. I am pretty much Tim's right hand man at Buschur's and will most likely have your answers. Otherwise, Tim is just a phone call away for me.

i understand that you do good tuning, but customer service is another end of the spectrum that you are not good at...

overall i am dissatisfied with your lack of communication and i am now taking my car to a different tuner, thank you for having my project delayed longer than i anticipated while waiting for your replies that never came in.

i have a hard time paying for a tune, when i cannot even get in contact with the tuner for a full month!!!

/rant.
Part of the problem is my recent change of venue.

For example, at one time i was an owner of PDXTuning. Now, I have my own business - Surgeline tuning. I should have started a whole new thread when this transition occured.

I will contact the mods and have them kill this thread once i start a fresh buschur 2008 thread

howbouthemapples - have you been emailing surgeline tuning or pdxtuning? I'm sorry for the confusion leaving this thread alive has caused.

Best regards

Tim,

For you to tune us...do we have to have one of the various EM choices or can you flash us with opensource?

Thanks,

Blake

I don't want to speak for Tim, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to do opensource tunes.

Is there going to be a schedule for Friday/Saturday? Also, would it be easier for the both of us if we just install the UTEC at the dyno? I've gone over the instructions and it seems pretty simple, but I'm not sure if you have to flash the ECU or not.. I don't want it to over ride my COBB tune.

No opensource tuning from me. My biggest customer is Cobb Tuning and there is a comflict if i tune with openECU tools.

If you want to buy an accessport from ME I'll discount the full tune price by 100.00. I cannot discount Accessports but i can discount my services to reward your investment in an accessport.

Bigmike - so you are in??
Definitely install the utec ahead of time just to make sure all works. Install the utec and then reload your AP real time map. Make sure to leave the utec on map "zero" until i get a chance to put a map on it. Do you have a 3.5 bar map sensor as well?? the utec is only good to the stock map sensor limits. ~23 psi

Schedule comming up ASAP - BTW - I'm going to kill this thread and start a new vendor thread today.

Best regards

Hell yeah I'm in.. I'll take a Saturday slot too. I changed my oil today and put about 70 miles on the car.. I'm getting the 4 bar MAP too, it just hasen't arrived yet.. The UTEC is a brand new Delta unit.. Everything should be in working order.

both emails. from surgline website, and pdx tuning.

and ive also asked in this thread. What is the total cost to have my 2005 STi tuned?
my mods are:
Cobb AP v2
Godspeed FMIC core is 24x10x3

Cobb catless TBE
Megan Racing header
Forge 100% recirculating BPV
Walbro 255
1 step colder NGK plugs
Hallman manual Boost Controller
Gimmick Motorsports turbo inlet & after MAF tube
APS 65mm
DIY PNP throttle body

i only want one map to run good on 93 octane, and i need to know if you can tune it with the cobb ap so i can still switch to valet mode if needed to?

again, i apologize. i have contacted Buschur Racing numerious times to try to get more contact information. You need to update them with how to get a hold of you.

Bushur probably has my old phone number and email. Dave buschur was all pissed about me not returning an email.. he later admitted that he'd mailed my old PDXTuning account.

Cost for your tune ~400 with dyno time. I can make serveral different maps for differnet boost levels as well as an antitheft, economy, and valet map.

If you'd like to get in on the tune please fill out my tune request form and send a deposit. the link to the paypal deposit comes up after you fill in the tune request form. Spots are filling up fast.

UTEC installed today and COBB realtime map up and running.. I did not flash any maps from the UTEC, but the light comes on when I turn the key on. I should be all set to go..

Looks like I am gonna have to bail on this tuning session. I just bought a house and had to spend $1000 that I wasn't expecting to.

Deposit made ,... The work continues on the car,... boy those TGV's are fun to get to!
Tim if it makes things easier put me in the schedule whenever on either day ( I am not working Friday or Saturday and will probably be up both days to check it out/get in the way anyhow,...)
