Default Tim Bailey of SurgeLine Tuning at Buschur Racing (cleveland) 2008

Its time to start a new thread for my tuning trips to Buschur Racing - the 2007 and 2006 threads are huge and hard to navigate. Furthermore, I'm no longer with PDXTuning so a change of thread title is in order.

The First round of Tuning at Buschur Racing is Scheduled for March 7th, 8th, and 10th. Future tune dates for 2008 will be announced and scheduled managed from this thread. Please discard the other/older threads.

Suported forms of engine management:
-Cobb AccessTuner - Accessport - Subaru, Mitsubishi, (mazda and nissan coming soon)
-EcuTek
-Hydra EMS
-Link
-Autronic
-AEM
-Greddy emanage
-Perfect Power
-PowerFC

Dyno Rate - new dyno rates coming up. For short tunes (< 1hour) the rate will be cheaper than the old rate of 125 per car. For longer tunes there will be an hourly rate To be announced soon

Tuning Rate - 250 for several pump fuel maps for most configurations (~1 hour tuning). Costs increase with time and difficulty or with addition of race fuel/methanol or other configurations.

Looking forward to tuning on your sweet midwest premium octane

To sign up for a tune at Buschur Racing please fill out the SurgeLine Tuning "Tune Request" form here:

http://www.surgelinetuning.com/page.php?page=tune_req

See you in Ohio
Best regards

I wish I didn't have to bail on this tuning session. I hope I will be able to do the next one.

Forget the new home purchase. Now there will never be any money for your car.

Seriously though, congrats on the home purchase. Home depot is going collect every penny you don't nail to the floor.

Tim, thanks for trying to sell my turbo, giveing me credit for being the only person you know that blew a tranny with a vf34 and calling me a wussbag for not being able to pull a tdo620G out of my butt and get it installed in a week. I hope you freeze your nutz off this weekend

That turbo has claimed another 5mt by the way. You also forgot that I trashed two trannies with it

I should have my turbo sorted out in a few weeks. The car is still fun with the break in map. Any chance of me sending you some data logs and running an E tune until you return ?

you want to come over to cleveland this weekend? Sorry i'm not any closer.

Or, just send me your ECU and i'll flash it back to stock... then use a cobb accessport to tune. Live tuning is SO SO SO much better.

We're going to get it down here in Cincy too. They are saying "worst storm of the year" on the radio down here. Should make for a fun drive from Cincy to Buschur tomorrow night! At least the Evo has AWD....just not sure how good these off brand tires are....

Where is Tim flying in to ? Flights might be cancelled and everything. We are looking at up to 10" in the Toledo area. South and East ( Wakeman ) of us is supposed to be worse.

I'm not on the plane yet but this is BAD news. Performance cars don't run very well in the snow. I'm going to look into delaying this trip. Making phone calls now.

Justs spoke with David Buschur and coworkers. They told me to stop being a sissy (they actually used a different word) and to get the hell out there.

I will be at buschur... regardless of conditions.
