Default My car keeps dying

I posted this in N/A, too, but I want some local help as well..

I just got home and as I pulled into my neighborhood my car dies. This happened last night, too. I was pulling into Shoney's and the car dies. I thought I just stalled out, but it just happened again. I have a CEL light, but I've had it for 5K miles and I haven't gotten that fixed yet because I have body damage on my car and I don't want Subaru to think I had an accident. The CEL code is P11111 and that's something about the intake pressure. My only engine mod is a Cobb intake. I've been hearing a funny noise coming from my engine when I start the car and at idle, but I was pretty sure that was just my Cobb intake vibrating against the fender. Both times this has happened I wasn't touching the gas pedal, and if I was it was only a little bit (can't remember). When the car dies I know the radio stays on and so do the dash lights, but I think the headlights go out (I can't remember, but I'm pretty sure). Anyone know what's going on?

That code is an electical circuit code. Check your wiring to the Atmospheric pressure sensor (which is located on the passenger side strut tower). This is where the stock intake was bolted to. Maybe you new intake is rubbing against the wiring harness and severed a wire or two. I have seen this happen before. Check that and let me know.

I had the CEL before I put the intake on, I'm gonna have Brian take a look at it today.

Brian couldn't make it today (maybe that's a good thing ), but I drove 50 miles and no problems. Lets hope it stays that way.

Actually, my car did drive a lot better today, but yesterday the intake was only sucking in half the air that it should've been because it was resting on the engine bay and not in the fender. I fixed that for good, though, I pulled out the silicone tip almost all the way out. No way it's coming out again.

If it keeps happening VA has a kick ass lemon law. If you decide to go this route, you need to document EVERYTHING. If someone at the dealership tells you something then write it down.

I just lemon lawed an 02 WRX, and got 03 WRX. Unfortunately it looks like SoA screwed me on the way out.
