It could be worse, you could be in civil engineering where getting your PE is much more common and includes an ethics exam.

Seriously, if you're a civil and not a PE, you are nothing. It is its own world.

In a perfect world there are many aspects of the car that I'd do differently. Given what I have, along with the progress I saw yesterday from John Evans, I am once again a bit excited about what should emerge within the next month or so. I may want to look into getting your 3MI air-oil separator. |

I need to call up JJ or message him to get the current price on a roller. I know what Danny was asking.
For your car, I'm glad to see it finally coming together! As for the AOS, they are getting ready to go into beta-testing. The joy of data I decided to simply SLS the first few before taking cnc and fab time. |

I actually had no idea there was that much room for a front tank. Is the front truly a safer spot for a fuel cell? This thing is so cool. I still want one too!

IAG, what are your plans to bring the revised model back to the market? There are certainly a handful of us grooling over the TR-42

Sorry to bring this back up, but I'm confused. You said it's a roller kit. Does that mean you buy it partially assembled? It's a chassis and suspension but drivetrain is up to you to select and make fit/work?
The 818 is a complete kit where it's designed to work with a specific motor, transmission, brakes, hubs, etc (but you supply those parts). Is that what this is? Are you using the stock wiring harness? I have a pdf I made for the 818 guys that details every wire that needs can be safely removed from the stock harness. |

It's like a homebuilt aircraft, the liability is on the builder that completes it. If you later sell it, you're liable.
I look forward to seeing this driving... |

Coming along nicely
I have been really impressed with the work being done on my car by John Evans at Carma Racing. He's finishing up all the fabrication work needed and will add a few custom items out of carbon fiber that he will design, build and install.
I picked up my factory wiring harness today to take it to Brandon at All Pro Subaru in Alpharetta where he will begin modifying it for the TR42. Brandon and John will be working together to get my car completed and running. Maybe, just maybe this will be the year my car finally gets finished. |

Happy, happy, joy, joy. Interested in seeing this running just as you are, well maybe a little less.

A LOT of people over at rs25 use iWire for their swaps, and I will be doing the same soon. I have PM'd him asking questions and he knows his stuff. Heard nothing but good things.
Also, been following this thread for a long while and I'm glad to see it progressing again. Awesome stuff so far! |

Brian is the man. He did my merge 2.5 years ago and I still contact him with random wiring questions completely unrelated to the swap. He is always prompt to respond and gives great advice. I wouldn't look any further if I was you.

IWire
Well I just received my invoice from Brian at IWire. I will be sending him my 06 WRX harness and ECU for him to do his stuff. I sure hope this fuel pump controller is with my harness since he'll need that too. I'll make sure to go through the mess to see if I can locate it before I package everything up and send it off to CA.

Harness sent to IWire
I located the fuel pump control unit on my harness so today I sent everything to Brian at IWire.
John at Carma has to fab up my fuel filler neck and cap, which will then complete my fuel system. Little by little it is actually starting to come together. |
