Gah, I'm about two seconds from getting a straight pipe exhaust, limo tint, and 4 12" subs installed, and drifting around town trying to race anything with wheels, with 2 crack-whores in the back seat along with a duffel bag full of meth and automatic weapons.
Might as well give them a real reason to pull me over.

I think I've just gotten "marked" by APD because of all the tickets I recieved recently.

USUALLY APD isn't that bad. Hell, I didn't get a second look in my loud ass old WRX with pink wheels.
But this one.. I get some tint and they are throwing every non moving violation at me.

Hope used to get pulled over all the time in her 08 STI back in the days. I blame her. haha

There has been increased police activity the last few days that has me kind of paranoid. It's dumb because I honestly thing there are more dangerous and obvious people out there for them to mess with.

Kyle, just buy my car. Cute, Asian female cops pull you over and smile and let you off with a warning.

You also get burly, Black cops, too, so I dunno...

The officer proceeds to harass me about the issue and threatens to arrest me for disorderly conduct if I failed to cooperate, mind you all I had said was this: "It's a common issue in these new Suba..", didn't even finish the sentence.
Second time I get pulled over, about 2 hours ago, it was for not having my headlights on. Even though there are trucks with dark tint, multiple vehicles speeding, and plenty of vehicles without their headlights on as well in the same pack I was in when he first flipped on his lights.
When I pull into the next available parking lot, since I don't like having officers on the road in danger, he comes out shouting from the rear of my car to turn the vehicle off. Moments later a second unit pulls up and the officer comes and shines a light in our laps, on the floor, and into my glove box as I reach for my insurance and registration.
Second officer continues to scan the vehicle as I talk with the first officer.
After sitting for 15 minutes with their lights focused into my car, the first officer comes back and lets me go, but warns me, "If you pull this BS again I'm throwing the book at you". I HAD DONE NOTHING. I pulled over, complied, answered the questions he asked, and sat for 15 minutes.

What the hell
I got that treatment once for accelerating hard out of a stop light but there was two people in the car and I'm sure the other was a ride along who had that "I wanna be a cop" attitude. Didn't show up to court

I've been flagged before but not for a while...it eventually goes away after they pull you over a few times and nothings wrong.

Or bust this out at them "AS 11.61.120. Harassment in the Second Degree.

(a) A person commits the crime of harassment in the second degree if, with intent to harass or annoy another person, that person
(1) insults, taunts, or challenges another person in a manner likely to provoke an immediate violent response;
(2) telephones another and fails to terminate the connection with intent to impair the ability of that person to place or receive telephone calls;
(3) makes repeated telephone calls at extremely inconvenient hours;
(4) makes an anonymous or obscene telephone call, an obscene electronic communication, or a telephone call or electronic communication that threatens physical injury or sexual contact; or
(5) subjects another person to offensive physical contact.
(6) publishes or distributes electronic or printed photographs, pictures, or films that show the genitals, anus, or female breast of the other person or show that person engaged in a sexual act.
(b) Harassment in the second degree is a class B misdemeanor."

They don't like that, but you have documentation for them pulling you over and it's beginning to turn into a case of discrimination. Drop the you're only pulling me over for being asian and driving a nice car

When 3 weather apps say it's supposed to be sunny all day when I leave my house at 520a this morning...it's overcast.

And then it sprinkles JUST enough to put dirty ass waterspots all over my freshly waxed black car.

Thought about it, but after working 6a-6p all week, I'm taking advantage of our newly-announced day off by sleeping in and making it a lazy Sunday before going back to 12's while playing war all week starting Monday.

WGMG: Staying up all night just to make no progress because like a dummy I forgot a valve spring compressor. Could've been racing with my car today but no it's been sitting like this for the past four hours.

Saved over $100 having my brakes shipped to Montana instead of Alaska.

Must be my good looks () cause I find it's usually not too bad considering we are 3000 miles from no where.

I got a front diffuser shipped FedEx from England for my Elise, was $35 in shipping.

Clutch, flywheel, rear rod end brace was $38 FedEx from Cali.

Though... a set of trans gears (maybe 5lbs) the place wanted $68 to ship!? Shipped to my folks for $18 and my Mom flat rate mailed them to here for $15.

If you have a big order of something, it's cheap to barge it up. I did it for a tire order a couple years back, shipped everything to WA and then paid like 0.45/lb to get the pallet to here.

WGMG: Selling off my prized assortment of cars and parts. Things that I valued so much at one time are now a burden that I have to deal with. I didn't want to deal with them, I wanted to enjoy them and the process of building and working on them. And that's just the "vehicles" aspect of what I'm going through too. FML!

WGMG:

Having my current insurance company quote me over $600 per month for full coverage on my own policy because of two claims within three years on one vehicle, even though it should be two vehicles. I informed them that it's physically impossible to put the 2011 WRX under the July 2009 incident because the car wasn't even in production yet. Therefore it would obviously be the 2008 Forester in July of 2009. Either way, I know people with DUI's and multiple revoked licenses that pay $600 a month. I'm not sure why 2 claims equaling $2k combined (that I paid $750 of combined for the deductible) would land me $600+ per month payments. DUI policy without any DUI's is highway robbery to me.

If I wait until July for the 2009 to expire then it'll drop to $351 per month just for that used 2012 Impreza... Seriously? I haven't filed any claims with AllState yet, but I'm expected to pay over double for my insurance than what I was this time a year ago.

I did contact Amy Jones with State Farm for a quote, so hopefully she'll be a lot more reasonable. She was very nice in her initial email. Next I'll get a quote from Progressive. I just hate being treated like a horrible driver when I've had my license since 2002 and no incidents until 2009 and then in 2011. Dumb. It's like the older I get the worse things are.
