Yes, having my fog lights converted to HIDs makes a major improvement. It lights about the road directly in front of you as we'll as a wider view and defiantly now reaches a greater distance.

Haha yup, that's exactly what they did. It's looks good in the stock housing though, fits with the car. And yea I'm sure it does blind the people driving infront of me, I feel bad on the occasion but not too much

Hmm... i hope you didnt pay for retrofits and they gave you an ebay kit. I would remove it.

Another member on this board said he was getting cloudiness in the inside of the lens from the HIDs. Just a heads up.

I know this is a 2012 Impreza picture thread, but I just picked up my 2013 Impreza Sport today and thought I'd share some pictures. http://i.imgur.com/fsjzT.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/nlXzY.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/DhJTq.jpg

Manual DGM Sport, aero guards, strake sport, under spoiler, roof spoiler, body side molding, all weather mats, and cargo tray. Plus I had them install leather after it came into the dealership

I'm excited to be one of the Subaru family!

Okay thanks for that information, I have good HID lights not, not some cheap auto rip off parts, or some crappy kit from off of eBay.

This doesn't sound like a matter of crappy retrofits, it pertains to the extra heat the HID bulbs create. The housing is only designed to fit the low wattage bulb which produced less heat.

At any rate, keep us in the loop.

I actually only used 2 coats, it surprisingly turned out to look very clean. I taped off where my turn signal lights are so that part has no paint on it. To darken my tail lights I used red and silver paint, which gave it that darkened look, but not too dark to which you would get pulled over.

I kinda like the look of the overlays. What's the quality like? Think they'll hold up over time?

Installed Hellas on the Rex and the Prez. No pics after the grill was reinstalled on the Prez because you can't even see them.

I like the look, it looks different from how tail lights are normally tinted. Did you wet sand them down? Did you use clear coat on them after as well?

Nope didn't sand them down at all, or use a clear coat. It looks smooth close up but it's rough to the touch, looks great and holding up well

Pretty silly comment. Most played out? I'd probably agree with you there. Usless mod? I would believe that to be totally false. I can tell you one thing people hear me when I honk the horn. I wasn't all about showing off the horns themselves but I did put it behind my grill put painted them matte black.
