I have wanted to get a WRX ever since I saw that Subaru comercial introducing the newly designed '02 bugeye. 6 years later, in 2008 I finally got one! I found a good deal on a used '07 STI with 8,000 miles on it, and I dove right in! My first goal was to drop it, and throw some aggressive wheels on it. I got some coilover sleeves, a replica front lip, and I had some 18" Konig Villians that have been sitting on my truck for years (You can see them in the background of my first picture). Coincidently they fit the STI. I like the look, but eventually I want some concave wheels. I am trying to save up for more suspension mods, and a little more power when I can. First day home
Dropped with coilover sleeves Mounted replica front lip and threw on the Villains Plati dipped the wheels, 3000K HIDs for fogs

Welcome to Nasioc & Congrats on the '07 STi

8,000 miles is SUPER low! One owner?? How much did you get it for if you don't mind me asking??!

I bought it late in 2008 from a dealer. It had one previous owner. List price was $28,900. I was surprised at the price, but carfax came out clean! Unfortunately I don't get to drive it myself very often, because it sits under a cover in my garage 2200 miles away. Today it currently has 10,100 miles on it.

I just flashed to the COBB Stage1 OTS map. I notice a little more power, but nothing to brag about . When I get a DP and EBCS, I'll probably go with Clark Turner Stage2 map.

the drop and the wheels really make the car stand out from others. an 07 with 10k miles should be worth almost what you paid for it 3 years ago! good for you!

Damn, that's a low mileage!

I've got about 3,4xx on mine, all original! My car is pretty much a garage queen though, which I've need to do something about.

Grats on the new car, enjoy it!

Finally moved back. Started tinkering right away!

Plasti dipped my wheels. It was very easy, and forgiving to work with. I think the satin finish is awesome!

Heat wrapped my CNT downpipe and flashed to Stage2. I get better response, but for some reason I'm only peaking at 13 psi! The car runs perfect otherwise, just not hitting anywhere near the 18 psi target.

I cut up a cell phone holder to make a custom Accessport mount, and spliced a switch into my USB cord so I can turn the accessport on and off. I also did the DRL disable.

I mounted the power switch lower, out of sight.

I actually just moved back to Utah. I was living in Jersey City. I should probably change my profile next time I'm on my computer.
