Talking Mixing the old skool with the new skool subies..something no one else has ever dared

Just thought I would share a couple of things.

First: If you have an Impreza with a beige interior and want keep the beige color theme (looks nicer without black mats), go to the bone yard and get some beige mats out of an 85'ish or so Hatchback. They have the Subaru logo on them, and even have brown carpet inlays if you are lucky enough to find a nice set like I did, and they worked great for over a year

Second: Last time I was in the bone yard, I collected a few Subaru emblems. I took one in particular off of an 87ish wagon tail gate. Its the old style Subaru logo, but it is in next to new condition. Furthermore, it is very convient that the front grille on the first 2.2L's almost match that of the first Generation Brat. Well, my Impreza is now wearing a Subaru GL badge on the front (2x's larger than the stock Impreza one, yet old school) and it fits in between the "V" of the grill perfectly. It seems to be the perfect size, it looks great, it balances the car out somehow, and NO ONE ELSE HAS ONE ON THEIRS....muuwwwhhhhahahahhahaha

Pictures to follow soon hopefully, till then, any comments are welcome, ect, ect. I mean, come on...is someone going to call me a ricer for sporting a Subaru GL badge...lets get real here Trust me...It looks great and it catches the eye, especially if you are a true Subaru enthuasist

Till later!
Kevin
