Just wondering, do those footwell lights light up only when the doors open, or are they on when the headlights are turned on?

Thanks.

Yep, that's right.

Yeah, it'll probably be my project this upcoming week, as well as some paint restoration. My poor baby's previous owner wasn't the most careful.

Ah thanks Jourdan.

BTW i just tried to install my Sway bar.. 1 major issue, I cant fit my drivers side endlink into the slot. I tried both endlinks on that 1 side, but it would not slide in. My guess was it got bent, so is there a way to bend back the slot safely? or I shave the endlink a bit to make it slide into the slot?

Thanks.

I was reading through a thread about installing the lights, and someone mentioned buying strips of LEDs from Advance or Pep Boys (which are cheaper) and wiring them the same way to get the effect. I went to the store and checked and the LED strips are 12v - Will this short out my car or anything? I heard about that once. Help is appreciated, I'm dying to get some little things done on her.
Confirmed at 12V

Also did the DRL disable and fog light mods.

OH MAN, you're the best hahaha, thanks a lot.
I did the DRL disable too, I like it a lot. I'm still waiting to buy my fogs though.

It's wayyyyy cheaper. I have to say at least 1/3-1/4 the price for plastidip (for all materials)

Maybe for the good paint/clearcoat/primer/etc. I was just imagining someone basically spray-painting their wheels with no prep or anything lol. But yah your right its definitely cheaper. Btw did you get your hybrid intake running smoothly now?

It's a lot much cheaper... you could do 4 wheels with a $5 can of plastidip while paint/primer will cost about $20 to do it right but the price difference is marginal. It's the work involved... Paint/primer an take an entire day plastidip is probably 3 hours from dismounting the wheels to mounting them.

But if you do it right with paint you can get a really nice finish while plastidip limits your color options (black, white, red, blue, yellow)

Wait.... I just checked the website and OMG they make nightshade that peels off like plastidip!!!!! And they have a 'camo collection' now

Nope even the basic stuff cost at lest 3-5times more.. just needs so many more things, like sand paper, clear coat, primer, paint.

Nope havent done it. My car has been acting VERY strange lately.

Well.. Out of the blue, I suddenly lost power and torque while crusing at 45mph on an expressway. And for some reason it just wont crank HP as fast any more. Im bringing it in to the car shop, but it got me a bit worried.

I just did that and worked like a charm.. While doing that I removed the STI exhaust and put the WRX exhaust, and then installed my Sway bar in. Drives so differently.

Also, I only removed the STI exhaust since I've noticed more and more cops around my area, for the past few weeks, so ive been thinking they were trying to bust me down. lol

Good im glad it worked for you. Sometimes our cars go through funky moods, my 07 did it alot!
Cops are brutal in my area. One night coming home around 11pm I got pulled over for a liscense plate bulb out so i asked him if he could show me and he was like no im not giving u a ticket just a warning. I was like please show me so I know what to change and he didn't answer so i got out went to the back of the car all lights were working as intended. I asked him again why he pulled me over and the only thing he had to say to me was goodnight and drive safe. I dont get them and thats 1 of many harrasment stories lol.
