Modifications: Avo Turbo Kit
Tsudo Exhaust system
HKS BOV SSQV
450cc fuel injectors
255 Walbro Fuel Pump
20% Tint
Xenon HID headlights and Foglights
Matte Black all the Chrome
2 10" P3 rockfords
Pioneer Touch screen CD/DVD player
Debadge

Next Purchases: 17" O.Z. Racing Wheels
Possibly UEL headers

Question: I've done my research, but I would like to know what would be the best brake kit for our cars?

Pictures will be up once I get the tune in December.
Welcome what kind of goals do u have in mind? For your brakes. (Autox or just DD).

I used to...

I ventured out into a mud pit a few years ago.

I'm still finding dried up mud in random places.

I used to like offroading and mudding in the prez until... I completely ripped of the underbody engine cover... since then lol it gets washed 3 times a month and rinsed once a week during winter or when ever they start salting the road.

And driver side.

What brand are these?

Do you have to drill into your front bumper for light bars?

DDM Tuning, highly recommend.

I was with Xenon Supply but was very unhappy with the build quality and materials used. The connection for instance were just two metal prongs that stuck into the oem connector. If they jiggled loose and touched each other, poof headlight out.

DDM uses a connector that clips directly into the oem headlight connector for the power. So there is no worrying about getting the connection right the first time or having to reverse the polarity.

Bottom line DDM Tuning FTW. And they have a slim digital ballasts and life time warranty.

What he said above! They're like $300 from rally innovations. See if any local exhaust shops have a bender or a custom bike shop that can bend 1.25" tube to fit and just weld it to your car or drill and bolt it up. I bet it would be cheaper or the same in price as well!

Bring in pics of the R.I. bar and replicating it's design should be easy.

THIS. I went to a local speed shop for an alignment after they replaced a front axle, and got a quote for a light bar with 1.5" and 1.25" tube attached to the sub-frame and bumper reinforcement and a full skid plate underneath all powder coated. Nothing would be noticeable once it was removed. It would have tabs for mounting up to 6 lights in the future. And guaranteed not to bend or rust under "normal" driving circumstances, including, what they called "occasional 'parking' incidents."

And it was all under $300 built to my personal specifications.

Alright guys, finally got a new exhaust. I was originally going to go with a Nameless axleback with mufflers due to the MN state law requiring mufflers. I was planning on just waiting until spring but happened to land upon this instead.

08-10 SPT dual exhaust

I found this locally from a guy who just recently sold his WRX. To my surprise he only lives 5 minutes away so it was even better. Ended up picking it up from him for $200.

As you can see it definitely needed some cleaning. Here's a couple before and after shots. I think it cleaned up very well.

This exhaust came with the gaskets, but I wanted to play it safe so I bought all new hardware and gaskets. I also cleaned up all the flanges.

I ordered the SPT exhaust kit. Here is a item number and what is included if anyone is interested.

D441SFG100 (SEDAN only)

I also got new spring bolts, springs, nuts, and donut gasket for the cat to midpipe flange. I almost decided to not get any of that but thankfully I did because the spring bolts snapped instantly after removing them!

The part numbers for those are as followed.

Spring Bolts = 44059AA010 (x2)
Springs = 44044AA010 (x2)
Nuts = 802008270 (x2)
OEM Donut Gasket = 44022AA123 (x1)

Here's a picture of the cat to midpipe installed.

Here's the tail end of the mid pipe with the ring gasket on.

Just for reference here is some size differences from stock to SPT.

Here it is installed. So far I'm loving this. Sounds great and looks great to me. I'm pretty positive the stock 2.5i piping on the sedan goes from 2.5" at the cat down to 1" at the axle piping. Pretty sad. The SPT I believe is 2.5" from the cat all the way and then the tips are 3". I have not noticed any increase or decrease in performance.

Looks great dude! It's amazing what a little polishing can do to chrome tips lol.

Driving on gravel is the whole point of this machine! Find a $2 car wash and you are GTG. Oh yeah, and watch out for deer!
