Oh right, I recall seeing it now. Looks great though man. Do you plan on removing the center piece that sits in front of the hood latch? I feel like it would look much cleaner but I wouldn't want to sacrifice structural support

I suppose I could but I would also have to chop a piece of the bumper which will make that section weaker for sure

Do you have spacers or are those just like a +40 offset stealies? And did you get the premium package or are those side skirts and rear defuser put on after?
Looks good!!

I know the body pieces are stock for him. Only because its the Canadian version I'm so jealous of the body.

Thanks for the complement. No spacers, not sure the offset on them. I figured they were just stock from subaru but haven't checked. The tires are 215/55/16 and its lowered an inch and a bit: and the rally armor's stick out quite a bit.

The car is from Canada and has the sport package. It came with wrx front bumper and fogs. Side skirt kit and rear defuser, heated seats and wind shield wiper defrosters. I guess Subaru thinks its cold everywhere in Canada lol.

The only difference between my car and a stock base model 2008 wrx are the turbo guts and the front seats. All the interior leather warped surfaces are the same as well.

In 2009 they started getting the hatch wing, which I've been hunting down without luck for ever.

Edit: They come stock with a rear sway which I don't have. Shocks and struts are the same though. I always though of that as a rip off for the 08 wrx's.

Didn't the WRX also get the electroluminescent cluster with the tach in the centre instead of the speedo? And the 17" wheels. But now i'm being pedantic

Seriously, however I think most of the people who have our cars would want the mph in the middle rather than the wrx setup w/ rpm's in the middle lol. If only we could swap the cluster's

Most people who buy our cars want the auto trans. When I was shopping for my car I bought it used an it was hard for me to find it in standard. I first saw the paprika color online and hated it! Now I'm in love with it.

Just when I was starting to feel good about my car compared to a wrx, I'm glad someone stopped me. I really did drop the ball on that one now that I think about it. Pretty sure that all have automatic climate controle, coolant temp gauge and forgot the brakes and exhaust.

I'm familiar with the gauge layout, what is the difference between ours and the electroluminescent cluster, is it just a better color?

From what I see, the Electroluminescent cluster is easier to see since the color is a bit brighter, There is an actual Temperature Guage, and looks more lively than the single color red we have on the 2.5is

So some sad news today, my transmission just quit on me in my driveway the bearings were squeaking for about 2 months, and today I depressed the clutch and it stayed depressed and burnt my clutch and made an awful noise. I just hope it doesn't burn a huge hole in the wallet :@

Still holding strong too! Even after blasting through the snow the other day.

I should still pick up a couple grimmspeed ones considering they are 15 minutes away. Lol

I'm not familiar with the throw out bearing, but I can't imagine anything major going this soon unless your teaching kids how to drive stick for a living.

Come on, Reid, give us the full wheel/tire spec! I am always impressed you fit all that in there! Your car always looks so good! What I hope mine looks like some day as my daily driver! Perfect stance stuffed full of wheel/tire without wild camber or tire stretch. Just so clean!
