Just test fitted earlier this week and dang its gna be a tight fit lol. Just need tires but due to my financial situation and some parts that need replacement first, that wont be up until March or April.

Rears are cutting close to the wells and might need control arms or spacers to go lower and the fronts are really close to the coilover body, not that big of a deal.
What front lip is that? Bayson R for STI?

Edit: I took a picture. Not a very good picture, but I'm just curious as to if it can be even installed upside down. I always thought it was a one way only kind of thing.

That looks like it is touching things it should not be touching. Mine is free floating, only touching the mounting points. It is also silent, I have never heard it.

@BSP671 how close are you coilover bodies to hitting the CV boot?

Muffler deleted. Resonator still there. Its actually the wrx midpipe so the piping is larger too.

Ha, I know. But show season is right around the corner and I still have to do a large purchase for my other vehicle.

I looked for that harness today but im not quite sure what you were talking about all i found was those 2 wires held up by the white plastic clips.

Those are them. It's a wire and a hose. There are also more wires above the clips. But those should be ok. I think.

Need to get down there and get an accurate measurement. My guess would be 1"-1.5" I THINK. For some reason, my frame has a slight upside down "V" notch for the axle to clear a bit, does yours have this too?

Wow, that's actually not bad. Honestly I haven't seen under there yet. The harness is the one wrapped in the wire loom housed in that plastic which holds the clips. It seems pretty high up there to not give you any problems. I would be more concerned about the ones dangling up there. I need to take a look this weekend and see if its a safe position to steer clear from being rubbed against. I'll take some pics as well for you guys to have an idea of what I'm talking about.

Ok so I'm wondering how to better level out my cars stance with a load in the hatch. I currently have epic engineering lowering springs. After a bit they started to sag. I added paranoid fabrications saggy but spacers and they worked great. But there is still a slight difference between the front and rear, and especially when I have a bunch of weight in the hatch.

If I were to add a thicker spacer I'm told I would need extended studs on the top hat, anyone know if they just pop out. Or even what to replace them with? I currently have the half inch, looking to move up to 3/4" until my struts blow.

I know the stock struts won't last so I'm saving for some bc br's as opposed to just replacing the springs.

how bad is the bumper? I was planning on body filling mines, then painting it at a shop.

Mines like 3 holes in the bumper, the rest is paint marks. I'll look for me pictures

They might already be blown. Have you checked them out recently?

I've been aware of the possibility since day one. I don't think they are considering ride quality is same as day they were installed. Still very flat on hard cornering and no bouncy movements of the car. No oil leaks around the strut assembly. Had it on a hoist a week ago. I was checking for that at all 4 wheels. Original struts on the car have 80k KM's, maybe 10 with the new springs on.

It's not super low still 1" gap between tire and fender and the differences between front and rear is about 8-10mm

Just to be sure is there anything else I should be looking for.

Anyone had any issues with their hood closing??? '08 sedan. When I close the hood, there is no satisfying 'click' to signify that it is latched. When I pull up on it after closing it, it there is a good 3 inches of travel until it is caught by the safety latch. I do not notice any vibration or 'wiggling' while I'm driving, but a little nervous that a strong gust at 80 on the hwy might be too much for the latch...any insight would be greatly appreciated...

I have the same issue. I spray WD-40 on it an its good until I open the hood again. I even adjusted the hood latch and it still doesn't catch correctly.
