Here is a good one. I almost started a thread, but ill put it here and pose the question, would you have called the cops?

Dear trucker. I get that you probably hate people on their phones while driving. However I think that me legally checking my gps at midnight on an empty road probably did not pose a significant threat to anyone's safety. The first time you crept up next to me and saddled into my lane with no blinker, I would have passed as an accident. Two minutes later when you fly up next to me, slam your brakes, and violently swerve at my car made it look less benign. I almost let you hit me so you would lose your f*****& job. Apparently, my stock horn blasting 6 times didn't do much, as you then proceeded to swing behind me and blast me with your high beams. I finally got behind you to get your fing plate number when you slammed your brakes and straddled both lanes going 30mph. The change that you threw at me as I finally got around you when there was a 3rd lane was in particularly poor taste. And after all that, do you really think it was worth your job to once again swerve violently into my lane with no blinker? I have never wished greater ill upon another motorist in my life. I sincerely hope you lose your job.

It literally took every ounce of self restraint not to call the cops on this homicidal maniac. If I didn't have a strong moral opposition to calling the authorities when only I am in trouble, you would very likely have had your cdl stripped and hopefully been stuck a loong way from Florida.

Sorry that was stupid long, but that was seriously insane. Next time I get paid I'm ordering hellas and possibly a cockpit operated machine gun.

Did he have one of those 'how's my driving' 1-800 numbers on the back? I called that one time and the guy immediately stopped being a d-bag.

Also, there's a heat-seeking missile kit for subaru's but you have to lose your fog lights as the hellfire missles shoot from there and the fog light button launches them.

no no 1800, no logo on the truck, nothing I could use. I still got his plate # written down, but i'm probably not gonna call anyone.

Hmm.. that sounds pretty promising. But is it worth losing the fogs? One will help in mediocre weather, the other in more of a.. small tank sort of way.

Why wouldn't you call? He has probably done this before and will do it again. Maybe injure or kill someone next time. Who cares if he looses his job, he certainly isn't the right person for it and there are plenty of more well qualified safe drivers that are more than willing to take his place.

^Def would have called.

Dear summer home tourists,

Please go home. I am sick of people taking up both lanes of rt7 going 35. Going towards lee and then going back towards pittsfield. The next time someone slams on their brakes with no turn signal going into guidos, I'm going snap. The center turn lane in great barrington is not an extra lane. You do not pass in it and you do not drive down it if you're not turning. You will cause a massive accident.

Thank you very little,
Angry station wagon driver

P.s. The officer determined that when you're the one changing lanes without looking, it's probably your fault you hit the side of my car. So not only did you lose your argument, you got a citation for failure to stay in lane. Karma sucks huh??

Sincerely,

The guy that buffed out the scratches from this "accident requiring a 911 call" in 20 min by hand
The money from that neck injury could put a nice payment towards the WRX. haha

The reason I wanted to call was to get him fired. If I wasn't like 100% sure I would have gone off the road and flipped I would have let him tag me so he'd have to pull over. In my experience calling the authorities always just makes things worse so I do what I can do avoid doing so. Its amazing to me that he would risk his livelihood like that though..

Hahaha!!! I know EXACTLY what you mean. Or the pedestrians that cross exactly between the two crosswalks on main st GB, the ones that go 55 in the 35 just to go 35 where you're referring to, or the one special one the other day that hit me taking a right with her left turn signal on. Winning.

^lmaooo really though, being from out of town or having a handicap tag does not give you the right to drive like an idiot. I have yet to be hit somehow but let me tell you, the day it happens, that unlucky SOB is gonna be ripped a new one. I'm young. I'm from the generation of bad, stupid drivers but I have managed to never hit anyone nor cause an accident.

anywho, a cop pulled out behind me on 7 today towards lee by those apartments and followed me all the way til the first left turn towards lenox high. He straight up ripped into the grass median to turn around. Guess another subie went by going the other way with an exhaust louder than mine! So thank you officer, for being a raging dbag and tailgating per the usual procedure. But thank you even more for not pulling me over

Dear Jetta GLI from Penn.

Your car looked pretty nice with the hella flush look, but you drive like an ass hat and were getting pissed that you couldn't pass me in the right lane because of traffic. Sorry but I wont let you bye when there are 10 cars in front of me. You have the quick lane change mastered though. I thought you had about 500HP after you changed lanes faster than an F1 driver.

Good day

Dear anyone driving up Mass Ave. at the stop light with the connector for 93/90,

When I am driving in the right lane of the two lanes going straight through the intersection, this means I am entitled to be in the same lane on the other side of the intersection even if it means you have to move your car 10 feet to the left to stay in your lane. I promise you that the left most lane does not turn into a "left turn only" lane so you won't get stuck there. Just because MY lane kind of lines up with your current position DOES NOT mean that it is yours on the other side. I do not enjoy being forced into the shoulder just because you can't be bothered to move your car to the left. Thank you and have a nice day.

Sincerely,
The STI that is sick of being run onto the shoulder

Also.....

Dear BMW 335xi douchebag,

When everyone is backed up for 1/2 mile for the EZ-Pass lane on the Pike westbound with nobody in the cash lane, it doesn't mean you can come all the way down to the booth and then try to cut everyone off. When the brand new WRX in front of me didn't let you in and you gave me a look like I should feel sorry for you, did you really think I was going to let you in? Really?? I will give you some credit for acknowledging my shake of the head signaling "don't even think about it" and not attempting cut me off but still, you should know that there is absolutley no way in hell you are getting through that booth before I do. Next time, be nice and wait in line like everyone else, owning a BMW does not make you better than everyone else.

Sincerely,
The "no way in hell" STI

I have to agree with Spaber05 on that.

We have a lot of those lane alignment issues here. Some are two lanes turning left though, but somehow, people on inside lane still go straight into the other turn left lane. Or they try to turn left at 3 lanes wide. Its quite amusing to watch. (Sarcasm)

Yeah I'm amazed at how people don't pay attention or choose not to use common sense. In this particular instance, there are 2 "left turn only" lanes, two straight ones, and a "right turn only". I was in the right lane of the "straight only" lanes and found out that people just can't process lane alignment. Ah well, it's has happened to me a few times and will probably happen again, better ranting here than getting road rage
