He explained it pretty well. He wants a shift knob that has the Subaru logo like the O in the NASIOC logo.

Hit lathe werks up. You just have to send him a logo and he can etch it on a knob of your choice. He can do probably just about anything you can think of

shift knob
Check out Flossy shift knobs, they are made of high quality materials, and are available in a variety of finishes and colors and can be custom engraved w/ your artwork for a very affordable price. I have had one in my 05 wrx and I absolutely love it, by far the best shift knob I have ever had. Check them out here:

Lathewerks puts out quality stuff, I'm happy with my knob. I think that knob in the link is a little cheesy but whatever floats your boat lol. I think his burned in blue finish with the logo engraved would look sick. I got gunmetal but I kinda wish I woulda went with the blue

You can also make a shift knob out of anything you want. Drill a large enough hole, and epoxy in a "tuner" style lug nut in our thread pitch(12x1.25).

It looks like he posted that 3 years ago, seems like the paint is just muched up inside the etching. I'm sure hes mastered it by now.

Lathewerks is amazing. I just recieved my burnt Ti ball knob from them. the thing is flawless and looks amazing in my new car. Sets the interior off.

I've got an idea for a shift boot that has never been done before. I don't want to give away all the details but it involves crown royal.

Metal shift knobs get hot as hell in the summer and cold in the winter. Have fun.

Unless you coat them in carbide like I did. Then they're cold in the winter and only warm in the summer.
