Default 16year old with parents H2. funny pics inside.

This happend in manassas last weekend. A 16year kid brought his parents H2 out to the car hangouts. He decided to show off to everyone in the crowd and start offroading over the grass. To make the story short, the hit a drain pipe.

here is the aftermath. Nice owned picture.

hhahahh...good ole burger king in manassas. LOL. I was actually there when it happened...the funny part was when his dad came and picked his ass up in his vette. The hummer had a ton of dudes in it, and then the dad just picked up his son and left all the rest, man was he pissed as all hell.

If it was an H1 then it would be an impressive off road machine. The H2 is a BS luxury truck for the rich and was not designed for off roading despite looking tough. You offroad with something you don't give a damn about, cost very little and its easy to get repairs.

H1s aren't all that great, either. If you want a real off-road machine, you can't have such a long wheelbase. You want something like an old F-40.

For some reason I doubt that an F-40 would do good off road...

Toyota can't go wrong with the FJ. They are indestructable if you restore them right. Their chassis are built so strong.

wow, didn't know there are other fj fans out there. i think i'm going to hold off selling my car and just wait for this thing -- it's going to be bad-ass. i believe it's going to be launched in 2005 as a 2006 model. not much production information - only what was released when it appeared at all of the auto shows.

here's some pics:

BINGO!!!!That's the truck. Although I do hate to be grouped with the SUVs though. Even though to the ones who knows, it's not an SUV. I can see me doing river crossing in that.

TerpWRX,

Thanks for the info, I had a chance to buy one a long time ago but I didn't take it. It needed engin work so I passed.

Nice samples there on ebay, thanks. I saw a new Jeep Willy model at a auto show not long ago. Nice and tall but has flat shaped cabin unlike the SUVs' tall cabins. Simple interior and it looks like it's water proof so you can just hose it down after a trip.

The new FJ just need a light bar on top of the roof and a big antenna for CBs in one of the rear corners. It already has a front wench with a shackle, ops it's a hook. Maybe a onboard air compressor is all it needs. That should be a short order.

wrx11,

my brother-in-law is into the old cj5's & 7's. i tried to convince him to buy an old fj-40 but he insisted on going with a 1984 cj5. now he's got all kinds of problems with it and has dumped ungodly amounts of money into it trying to fix everything.

on the new fj cruiser, notice that to the right of the winch there is a uni-directional spot light. i hope they keep that in the production model. i doubt those massive tires will make it -- 33 X 12.50 R20 inches

Lots of cool old 4x4s out there. I've got a '73 Scout II for my weekend adventures. With ~190hp and 290 lb/ft from the factory it has no problems keeping up with 75mph highway traffic.

TerpWRX,

CJ aren't that bad. My buddy has CJ-7 that is complete rebuild and it looks mean. I think it'll take a FJ no problem.

Yeah I agree those wheels and tires won't make it to production, I'd be surprise if they did. Too nice looking to take off road. I think that light may just be for shining your way to a tree at night to unstuck yourself with the wench. Maybe it comes out so you can use it to repair a flat or work on the truck?

The Internationals are nice too, the hard top comes off like the old Broncos for the summer. It's nice going down to the shore too because all the girls want a ride.

Iam just sad now when they go on a trip. They tell people not to bring any Subarus becaue they won't make it.

Is there a way that I can find the kid's name?

There was a kid from the town that I live in that was moving to Manasses to live with his dad. The reason he was moving there was because his dad said he would buy him an H2 if he would move with him. And the dad was selling his Z06 to buy the H2.

If you don't know the name. What was the color of the Vette?
