I can always tell a difference between a photoshop job and a rig shot. There are clear inaccuracies. However, there is a new program called Virtual Rig (it's about $3,300 bucks) that actually simulates it based off of physics.

For instance...that image has a lot more motion on the left than the right and it doesn't scale back correctly.

Still dark. Yes, the headlights are clearly visible, but the rest of the car is mostly lost in shadow. Speaking for myself, the way my eye/attention travels through the photo, I start out briefly at the headlights, but there is far more interest above the car along the mountain ridge. I'm trying to provide a little constructive criticism/feedback, but if it didn't come across that way, I can try to rephrase or elaborate.

Very cool. Seems to be an LP technique I see more and more often. What are you lighting the car with, if anything (other than the fire itself)?

The background is just lit by fire, as is the ground then i went over the car after with a home made light powered by a single SMD. It was only my second time painting with light and my first time using fire so im looking forward to trying more out... Re-edited it and I like this version alot better..will be taking the other one down

Ya, I see what you're saying, but wasn't really going for the totally lit look like you are talking about.

I really like the 3rd shot! I wish that profile shot was centered though.
